Hi Jet Sy, These are absolutely Brilliant Tutorials, you have made it very easy to follow by using step by step stages, it really is absolutely impossible to make any mistakes. Thank you so much for sharing these three Easy Calendar Design tutorials with us, I for one am extremely grateful to you indeed, looking forward to you next upload 😀
@@travelingdesigner thanks for these videos , they are so helpful. I’m interested in creating the calendars and I noted a seller on Etsy stays that their A1 version can be scaled to A2, A3 and A4. Would you be able to say how can I offer a similar thing without of course comprising quality?
Awesome! My client just asked me to design a calendar, so I found the Calendar Wizard plug-in and installed it. Thanks for giving us this quick overview! Now I feel like I have enough info to get started.
Hi!! How do you put different colors on the cells, like the yearly calendar you showed first? Thanks for this great content, your tutorials are helping me a lot!!
Hi, about 4:20 you mention some kind of instant preview but I can't see what you point, maybe is out of picture. Any chance you can help me with that thing? I have to click ok so I can see the changes. Everything else is awesome tutorial. Thanks for sharing, already liked and subscribed
Do you mean separating some days on one page and the others on the other page? :) You just gave me an idea for a new tutorial on calendar wizard. Thank you. :) Will do my best. :)
Hello, thank you for the very helpful video. If I wanted to make a digital planner - Is there an automated way (?.js?) to hyperlink dates on the annual calendar to its corresponding date on a daily page? Selecting each date cell and applying a hyperlink to a specific page takes some time. Thank you so much.
Thank you. I'm not sure if there's a script for this (if there is, please let me know - would love to have it too). :) Yes, creating digital planners is very time-consuming. :)
Have you tried adding a calender into a CURRENT TEXT FRAME? If so how do you resize the calendar after you've added it into the text frame? Please help. I'm stuck.
Yes, I get most of the time. Just delete the text frame. When you click on the calendar, a red frame will show up and just delete it. It won't affect the calendar. Then you can do whatever you want to it.😊 Try it and let me know what happens.😊
It’s me again. How you print one calendar month into two pages? I have a pocket size planner and I need the month of November printed on two pages. Because one month on one page is too small. Thank you so much for everything!
Hey please, can someone help me? I wanted to remove the gap between months, I think its way too spaced, and the calendar gets way too small on A5 agenda pages.. Is there a way I can mess with spacing?
If they're all in one page, you can always select the months and manually move them. You can also create a textbox before you use the calendar wizard. Space the textboxes evenly and put the months there.
Hi, Something is not working quite right for me. The "spreads" in the middle pages overwrite onto the Left page of each spread, leaving the right page empty. I have played with the Pages panel but can't fix it. the video did not show anything about the page spreads. What do I need to do? What have I done wrong?
Hi Laura. I can't visualize what you're telling me. :) Apologies. Do you have like a 3-page spread? What type of calendar did you use? Yearly, monthly, 12 months on one page, 1 month on each page, etc?
@@travelingdesigner Hi Jet! I tried creating the middle option in your video- the 12 month calendar with one month per page and a spot for graphics at the top of each page. January and December are fine. The remaining months overwrite so that February gets created but then March is written on top of February instead of going onto the right side of that spread. Then the script creates April on the left side of the next spread, but writes over the top of it with May, and so on.
hmm I never have this problem before. Did you change anything on the settings? I tried it again and it's fine. I wish there's a place to attach images here ... lol
@@travelingdesigner Hi Jet, I learned about the calendar wizard at Adobe Max 20 20. I was happy to find your tutorial since I'm pretty much a novice and was happy to have the extra guidance. I would like to send you a screenshot via email, then you can see the problem.
Roshan, it's the same concept and steps.:) Just different size. Use the bookmark size (whatever that is) and do the step by step instructions on the video. :)
@@travelingdesigner Thanks.. I got it to bookmark size. But it's very congested.. Right now in 1 row there are 3 months.. How can I make it 2 months in each row?
@@Rosh72851 why do you have each month in a row? Hmm I can't seem to picture it in my mind. What's the size of the bookmark and how many months are you trying to put there?😊
@@travelingdesigner I can't seem to put a screenshot in comments. From your video above, the first sample yearly calendar has 3 months in each row. That's what I mean. I would like to make it 2 months in a row. (Hope you can understand what I mean.)
Ok. What's the size of your bookmark? I'll recreate it and see for myself coz I think it's too small so the wizard is trying to put everything where you want it. You can also change the dates/day/title font sizes too from the paragraph tool. Then resize the columns and rows so it fits right.

Hello,
I perform the same manipulations. Calendars do not fit on 1 page but they overlap. For example, the month of February is on the month of March

Hello. 😊 Sorry about that. The preview should be on the lower left. It's got a tiny box that you can click with the word preview beside it.
This is cool. Do you have a tutorial on how to do a 2-page calendar layout with the wizard

Hi, thanks for your explanation! Is it possible to modify an already created calendar? I need to update the 2024 calendar to 2025
Hi, you're welcome. If you have the Indesign source file ( INDD or IDML) then yes, you can edit it. :)
Go Jet xx 😊
Thanks Jyl!
can you use these for commercial use?
For as long as the images (if you have some) you're using are totally free, yes.
@@travelingdesigner I don't understand what you mean? Can create a book out of it and sell it as planner
Is the add-on for both Mac and Windows?
Yes 😊

You have all months in one page and you want to space them out evenly and not too far from each other? Is this what you're trying to achieve?
Actually I need to space them IN, need them more close to each other, without gutter
If they're all in one page, you can always select the months and manually move them. You can also create a textbox before you use the calendar wizard. Space the textboxes evenly and put the months there.
