Spoiler alert for thos who havent played 5 or read up on 6. Haruka reuniting with Kiryuu at the end of 5's mess of a story was a much better ending than her meeting some street punk that hasnt gotten ojisan no approval rating first.
Highly suggest that you still play 6. They did pretty much screw up Haruka's side of the story, along with some other parts, but there are plenty of things that make up for it such as Kiryu's new bro crew. I also felt the that the ending scene by itself was great even though some parts leading up to it were iffy. As always, there are also plenty of side activities and substories to do since it's a Yakuza game.
Eh, i think it was a good ending. We went into the game knowing it was Kiryu's last game, and we all knew Kiryu wasn't gonna have a happy ending, they could have just killed him and be done with it but it wouldn't be a finale fitting for the dragon of dojima.
