Beef Soup Bones And More

Usually when I come across a pack of soup bones, they are pretty bony. These ones had a lot of meat and fat on them which I loved.
By slow roasting them at a low temperature I was actually able to enjoy the meaty bits and some of the fatty pieces crisp up, and were so yummy with Redmond real salt.
Because I was roasting these bones at a low, slow temp (290°F for 3 hours) I was able to store all the tallow to use for cooking throughout the week.
I know these bones aren't grass fed and the tallow is not, but it is still so much better for you than seed oils and I hate wasting.
There was actually quite a bit of meat parts to these soup bones that the family enjoyed. I will be using the actual bones for bone broth, of course.
I just thought I would share because this was just so economical for eight dollars. I was able to get a package of beef bones that I was actually able to enjoy with a meal before I make my bone broth and it rendered two jars of tallow that I will be able to use for cooking And other recipes.
