This made me nostalgic. I was a 15 when Kunark launched. Didn't really know what I was doing but I had a lot of fun. Had a Dark Elf Warrior and Gnome Magician on Tunare. I remember the group that I played with was a whole family that gamed together. Two sisters, their husbands, their kids, and even their dad (He was in his 70s at the time).
These TLPs really are nostalgia runs! i played around age 15 too in Kunark/Velious.. great times connecting on a 56k modem! Even on this TLP ive come across a father and daughter playing together!
I am having the leveling take a backseat this time around. Kunark launched Thursday, and by Sunday evening I had nearly my entire VP key done, my HS key finished, my epic completed, Chardok faction raised, and am ready to go turn in at the Angry Goblin in FM so I can get my Regal Band of Bathezid. That's *just about* everything I wanted to do before I start hitting the levels and ruining my Chardok faction (although I am going to see how my Pally/Enchanter duo fares in HS before I go to Chardok). Last thing to do is work on my Primal Essence shield quest, then I'll be pretty much done with Kunark, other than basically raid logging lol. I experienced almost no competition for everything so far because instead of rushing levels, I rushed the stuff that people do after they rush levels, and it has been really nice. Levels are great, sure, but having to fight the rest of the server for weeks for stuff is a major pain! Having a pretty good time though.
And Seb sucks so much for exp. I was in a group there in Crypt for nearly 4 hours and ONLY gained like 95% of a level. It's just awful.
Clever way of doing things and I did that on a prev server had a really early ring and swc , I wanted the levels done first this time . I’ll hit 60 tonight then it’s epic > chardok faction > boxes for priority for me!
VP Key + Ranger epics done on opening! Not to be too public about it, but ALWAYS /petition if your epic quest doesn't go the way you planned .. The Reavers reached Althele in EK and my Corruptor despawned, but /petition restored my item
Nice I need to get my epic done now I’m 60 , I was going to get a few friends to help with reavers and corrupters ! Think only sweaty vp piece is swamp now so I’ll get that done soon too! Grats on epic!

I never thought I would complain about loot drops but the rates have made things like Fungi staff, tunic, CoS trivial. They will be selling for 1k apiece by the time velious drops.
Yup they are going to be so so cheap , big tip I can give is sell now and farm again later! Anything I’ve got i have sold SBS, spells, iksar hide cloak and cap !
With the number of camps taken by afk boxers I am actually glad, at least I can just buy it at a cheaper rate. Maybe next tlp they will instance dungeons kinda like they do raids now.

tbh i would have gone to com first till 54, then moved over. maybe over camped in there tho.
54 necro... skyshrine is .1% a kill solo, sometimes .4 but they are all light blue so its a gamble and not worth. May just wait for Velious to hit 60.
And those worms summon ! Chardok is best bet will easy get a group there where you can charm an undead!
