There is a great storage space in almost every bedroom that is most likely unused! Inside the closetABOVE THE DOOR! You can add long (6”) peg racks (from door frame to ceiling) for long items like umbrellas, gift wrap rolls, etc. (my hubby put a rifle in ours), or you can add a shelf for seasonal clothes,etc.

Girl, I’m with you! I hate changing sheets and the pillow cases are so annoying and when you sleep , even though I tuck the ends , Fall out and have to be tucked in every day!😡lol. Im 74, 4’8” and we have a king bed, so maybethats why I hate changing the sheets!😂

That bird singing in your outtakes was a cardinal. When I was a kid, I used to mimic their call and the birds would come closer in the trees. Next time you hear one, look for that bright flash of red!

Haha, you're such a fun mom. 🤣All beautiful things and I love the way you styled them. My favorites are the cheese boxes. I love those. My youngest son found one in the barn, all dilapidated. I'm still using it to keep my kitchen soaps in it. I keep a little towel on the bottom..🥰

I repaired OLD treadle sewing machines. I love them as they are. New belts .
Polished up and oiled . 110 years old and they still sew! Quilters love them !

Just an FYI,, I'm 67 yrs old & have bought so many pillows from expensive to mediocre, the BEST PILLOWS I ever bought is from MY PILLOW!! OMGOSH, the medium fill is great!! Next I'm buying the full fill. I sleep the best with these pillows!! Try a set, you won't be sorry!!

A credit they should have gave you your money back. Who doesn’t fix it and do a refund what if you need that money for something else. Crazy. I hope you don’t have any issues using the credit. ❤❤
Oh and i thought of you Saturday here..in Corinth Mississippi was a Goodwill, and a fight broke out! Apparently a women grabbed something out of someones hands after she got it out of the bins! All was quickly fixed tho ..crazy world we are in when people fight over a .50 cent item!
Corey, do you see a PRINT date inside the first few pages of that Gone With The Wind book?? This will be the key to determine how much to charge. Must say how I'm currently living vicariously through you with the Goodwill Bin trips...lol....the closest one to me is a full 90 minutes away (if traffic is good, which is rare these days) It never fails to amaze me seeing all the cool things you've found there. Just so cool. :)

Wow😃what a great upcycle of those drawers!! I have upcycled at least 30 drawers of different sizes, and I never thought of wrapping them with some twine or rope and putting flowers in them in that way😮 You have such great ideas and are so inspiring. Can’t wait to make some and put them in my booth. Thank you.
I just recently ran a crossed your channel. I bought a bit my sister and I are big-time posters and we love the goodwill bins. She my sister really roots through them. That’s the time I end up watching her as she holds everything up and you do really good andyou’re so lucky to have a husband that helps you with everything and he’s so good at all the DIY projects and you did such a nice thing helping your sister lol I was beautiful

We are empty nesters right now, but when my boys used to live at home, we would make those shelves like that and put them all around the doors because they were all into shoes so the shelves hold their boxes of shoes whether they were Nike or Jordan or puma whatever so now that they’re not living with us I kept the shelves up there, but I use them for storage for my Mason stuff because I do Mason canning And I also put stuff from Costco so I use the back bedroom almost liking overflow pantry. I have a lot of food there.
Shelves are great ..I always keep them..never throwing away..just put up ..till needed
I just recently found your channel and have subscribed and am trying to catch up with all of your videos. I wanted to say how nice it is to see the Readers Digest Condensed Books being used in people's decor again. There were several years where thrift stores around here (Minnesota) wouldn't even accept them. They would have shelves and shelves of these books. They were very popular at one time and quite affordable, so I think that's why there are so many of them around. I found another channel who also does the Goodwill stores and then stages/styles it in her home. I am so amazed at how many items I see you guys buy now, that I used to own and sold or donated years and years ago. It's fun to see these items again. I have several sewing machine drawers, 4 of which still have the frame around them, so need to see if my husband can mount them between a top and bottom piece of wood, so they can actually be used as drawers again. I am enjoying your channel very much.
Our library carries books and magazines for a quarter for using for decor 😊
You got great items at the goodwill bins. We don’t have them in WV or even goodwill outlets unfortunately. I love the room makeover also!

When l get pillowcases that have the extra length. I just mark where l want the case to be and cut off at the closed end of the case, then sew it back up, then l don't have all that extra fabric in the way.

Every bin starts out at $7 then $5, $3 and eventually $1 at the end of the week. I go so often as do others, if we see something we might not be interested in we hold it up to see if anyone else is interested. There may be 30+ people at a time. We all come from different towns and local residents. We have become friends at the bins. Hope you and your family feel better. ❤

You should not have had to pay that price, not even for a store credit. They should have re-checked everything and charged you your correct amount. That realy ticks me off that Goodwill would do that. I have a beef with GoodWill any way. If they give you any grief about using your store credit, give them "heck".lol
