Aweosme man hey i have a four runner and want to I stall a sunroof I saw you installing one on a Nissan truck where are you located I’m in Fontana California
Cool truck man! I got some baaaaaaaad news about that thing towing lol The first thing I would change is the timing belt unless you know it's already been changed.
@@humbleniss9056 No prob. Wasn't trying to be a dick. I've tried towing with mine before and while it can actually pull it it can't stop very well and hills are a no go. The timing belt is important because if the belt breaks, those are non-interference motors which means the pistons will slam into the valves it the belt breaks. Also if you do change the belt it's recommended to change the water pump and I would also suggest changing belt bearing right behind the upper radiator hose housing.
@@humbleniss9056 Oh also, I would suggest a valve adjustment. The valves naturally tighten over time and could lead to a broken valve spring. This is just all my experience of owning a 3.0
Kustom Life appreciate all the feed back , this is really gonna help me and appreciate sharing this Information with me , I will definitely take what you said and double check mine and make sure to do a valve adjustment!!
Hey buddy it’s been a while be careful with your forerunner I’m not saying that in a bad way you’re just notorious for timing chain and head gasket problems on the V sixes but long as you keep up with maintenance you should be fine awesome daily buddy👍😊
