@@Clarkkent163 The animated movies are not real.....But at the same time they are *More real* than anything out there... It's how you relate to it....For example in "Lion king" when Mufasa dies and Simba says "Dad, we have to go home" ....It hits you HOME....that's every kid's worst nightmare.... watching their parents die... Or for Carl and Ellie.... that's a *Life lived* Toy Story 3 was like growing up from your childhood.... Bing bong was the sacrifices that our loved ones made.... All this may be animations....but the Emotions ....Everyone of us have felt those emotions atleast once in life !!!
I was in college when UP came out, and one of my professors had recently lost his wife. I came into the classroom early one day to find a group of other students all whispering, a few of them obviously choked up: some of them had gone to the movies that weekend (the weekend UP came out) and seen the professor in question sitting alone in their theater.
@@nicholasbourcier It actually did, though I guess the other students could have been lying (not about the death of the professor’s wife, that’s confirmed) but feel free to believe whatever you’d like.
I know right. I mean Andy is already so grown up. When he was a kid and would say he misses Woody it always sounds like some kid missing his toy but would forget about it after some days. The watchers had to speculate if he just sees them as toys that can be replaced or as more. And in this scene you truly get, they they ment everything for him. And knowing this franchise for years and seeing this moment is so... hard
OMG, It all started when Bingbong says to Joy "Lets try it again, I've got a good feeling about this one." He already knew then he was going to sacrifice himself there... and then at the end he says "Take her to the moon for me" knowing that that's all he wanted for Riley. That hit me so hard.
I ALSO had guessed what was coming when Bing Bong said to Joy "I have a feeling about this one". Specifically, for me though it was that line Joy said "Do you remember when she used to stick her tongue out when she was coloring?"... which really hit me like a truck (given the surrounding circumstances in the movie). Then, a bit of time AFTER the movie was over I realized I was CRAVING MORE tearjerker movies. That was VERY atypical for me but after a bit of research and learning that crying can release feel-good brain endorphins, it made sense. So, I am now a woman in my 30's who is suddenly addicted to tearjerkers. Thank you very much, Pixar 🤣
Watching this in theaters with my grandfather only a few months after my grandmother passed was possibly the hardest experience I've ever had. Here we thought it would be a fun movie only for it to emotionally destroy us all.
And the way Bing Bong being forgotten symbolizes how at one point in all of our lives we start to grow out of our childhood, and move on from things like imaginary friends.
For real, Pixar movies are so unique in their way in every movie they release. Monsters Inc final scene with Boo always hits me. Can’t watch it without crying
As a father of a little girl, if the ending of Monsters Inc. doesn't hit you in the gut and make you ball your eyes out, you clearly do NOT love your little girl. Even though my "little girl" is now almost 30 years old, the ending of Monsters Inc still makes me watery-eyed thinking back of the many nights I came home from work and snuck by my girl's room and just stood there and watched her sleeping. And those really rare nights when I was able to get home while she was still awake and have her cry out when I walked in the door are some of the most wonderful memories for me. I hated the 2nd shift job because I missed so many nights with my girl. But I was able to spend so many mornings with her that she had a really hard time eating breakfast alone when she first moved out.
As a big brother too sum brothers their siblings are annoying but to me getting to come home from either school or work seing him soo happy to see me and scream Bubba home or seing those big cheesy smiles always made me smile he's not soo little any more almost 6 and I sometimes watch him sleep knowing he won't be soo little soon makes me love and appreciate those times he once and still calls me his hero
Yeah I remember when my nephew was born. The first time I held him he was the cutest little boy ever. I Used to do everything with him. Bring him with me everywhere I went. Took time out for him. Put him to bed had him stay nights over with me picked him up from school. Once he got old enough to be interested in girls we spent less time together and at times I feel like bing bong when I'm forgotten 💔
Pixar is so damn brilliant. It indirectly gives kids some of the best lessons in such a creative form that Disney could never do. If you ever hate humans just remember Pixar lmao I can’t even think of people forgetting about these movies in the future. Inside out was the saddest but most brilliant idea they made. Thank you for years of amazing movies.
As a guy who grew up being taught to not cry because that was a sign of weakness, and yes, it is extremely difficult for me to cry now. I just watch these things to let the emotions out that are bottled up inside, it feels so relieving afterwards

It DOES feel so relieving! At least... when I'm actually ABLE to. While I'm a girl myself (gender really doesn't matter in terms of variations of emotional expression, despite the stereotypes we hear about)... I too have an EXTREMELY difficult time crying, even when I really want to. I suspect in my case, it may have something to do with deciding on the belief early in my life that crying "serves no real purpose and is a waste of time" (but I do NOT believe that anymore, not since I learned firsthand of the feel-good brain endorphins crying can release. I am a HUGE fan of endorphins!. I learned that thanks to "Inside Out".) I swear it's not because I'm heartless lol... I think it's due to my earlier-in-life unfortunate self-training I'd done. I hope to learn to cry more easily... I definitely want to! But it's frustratingly hard for me to find a movie that triggers me to cry, and funnily enough, watching tearful RUclips reactions to tearjerkers actually makes me feel envious if I'm not triggered to cry with them lol. BUT that being said, there HAVE been some successes- "Interstellar" did it for me (twice during the movie)- THAT was a pleasant surprise, and that's what got me looking up "RUclips movie reactions" in the FIRST place because I wanted to see if that movie "got" anyone else like it did to me!. I was around 35 when I saw Inside Out... the part that "got me" the most was when Joy says "do you remember when she used stick her tongue out when she was coloring"). Toy Story 3 where they believe they are going to die while sliding into the inferno and they all hold hands....yeahhhh instant tears every time. But then again, I’m very much like Kenzie and it doesn’t take much to make me cry 😂
The Toy Story one is the one that hits the hardest for me. I was very lonely as a kid and always used to play with my toys, I could project a different world in which I didn't have to handle the reality I had. I really felt like they were all I had, and I didn't need anything else. It was a hard time passing them on as I grew up, but I knew they were going to bring joy to more kids in need. Still, I kept some of them to this day.
How about he scene in UP when Mr. Fredricksen was looking through Ellie’s My Adventure Book and came across her final message to him “Thanks for the adventure - now go have a new one! Love, Ellie😭
I'm INFP, meant to be very emotional but I smiled in intrigue as I watched this couple cry. I appreciated that they bonded over tears, though. That was the most beautiful aspect of this video.
I grew up watching a lot of toy story when I was a kid, even tho the movie was made in the mid 90s and then into the 2000s when I was born. It hit me in my heart and I bawled my eyes out. It’s hard growing up.
@@claymcneice6486 I know. I'm only 11, but, I've loved Toy Story since I was 2. When I saw that scene when I was 5, It did make me feel very sad, and now, it makes me even more upset for some reason...
For me it's the ending after that, which is just so overwhelmingly happy. Hector is one of the best characters Pixar ever created. That look on his face as he crosses the bridge with Mama Coco and his family breaks me.
I’ll be honest, I never cried watching the movies, but I still felt the sadness the scenes were supposed to create. However, watching these specific scenes together, I actually shed a tear for the first time watching these.
The Monsters Inc. and Inside Out scenes hit hard. I had imaginary friends and it felt like another part of my life was abandoning me. (I have major mental abuse and trauma from abandonment and manipulation)
I knew the last one would be that scene in Up. So heart-wrenching! There's also a sad scene at the end of the movie which is usually overlooked because the first scene is so powerful.... the part where Carl goes through the book again and reads Ellie's message
Simply seeing other people cry makes me cry. Didn't think I'd be able to cry only seeing bits of shorts clips but I was wrong. The clips were sad af & Kenzie balling didn't help 😭💔
I'm soulless? I didn't know i forcefully need to cry in order to have a soul. This comment is offensive. I only cried in the toy story 4 beggining and ending.
I'd seen "Up" several times but the worst crying episode I had was when I realized the church they had the burial ceremony for Ellie was the same church they got married.
My worst (or, "best / satisfying") actual crying episode was "The Land Before Time", but Inside Out was a close second for me... well... that MIGHT have turned out to be my #1 if I'd just LET myself, see story below: I was around 35 when I saw Inside Out... the part that "got me" the most was when Joy says "do you remember when she used stick her tongue out when she was coloring"). It depends. The more close aged siblings/cousins you had while growing up, the less actual physical toys mean. For only childs, or 10 or so years gap with the closest sibling kids, yeah, possibly. For a fifth on six siblings, with a couple of cousins you saw almost every day? Not so much. On the other hand, being closer to your gramps up until you're grown up, that makes the Up scene hit like leaden core bricks drop un you, and if you've lost a pregnancy at some point of your life on top of that, then its on Saturn and from orbit.

1. "So long partner" idg why you say it's the easiest, i never bawled my eyes out harder 2. Miguel singing to Mama Coco and she remembers 3. Boo and Sully's farewell 4. In Onward when Ian realizes his brother has been the kinda father he's always needed 5. Bing Bong
I didn't cry when they sang together, I cried before when Coco's dad sang to her (the flashback), because my father suffered from Alzheimer's and passed away when I was 15 but he also used to sing to me, so the last 20 minutes of the movie, I just cried.
The part that kills me in Up the most is when Carl runs frantically down the hill to Ellie, his hat flies off to show his worry and fear. It was kinda cut in the clip. But that's where it gets me every time, seeing how much he cares.

Alec Daniel Well I guess it’s just easy for people to either relate to the situation or they have the ability to basically feel what the characters must be feeling. For example my Dad has been in and out of a lot of hospitals lately which is why that scene gets to me. I hope you have a good day 😊
Alec Daniel damn do u have no heart lol?? I cried as well due to memories of a lost loved one in the past. Plus, it’s a very well done movie. Up is one of my favorites 😊
Or for Carl and Ellie.... that's a *Life lived*
Toy Story 3 was like growing up from your childhood....
That didn't happen. Stop it.
@@nicholasbourcier It actually did, though I guess the other students could have been lying (not about the death of the professor’s wife, that’s confirmed) but feel free to believe whatever you’d like.
I cried at this comment
aww...thats sad...
OMG I CAN'T STOP 😭😭😭
I still can't see that moment when Andy holds back before he explains about Woody. i cry everytime.

Yeah, it's even harder to watch that scene for the second time knowing that he is doing it consciously than it is watching for the first time.
and Bingbong just had to sound so excited Joy made it :'(
I cried so hard omg
I cried and my mom walked in and I was like"👁👄👁"
I ALSO had guessed what was coming when Bing Bong said to Joy "I have a feeling about this one".
Lol oh god, I'm so sorry. That's so heartbreaking that it circles back around to laughing.
It also strength your family bond because the movie showed that he will never be alone.
Was this film Up? That was definitely their most emotional film besides Monsters Inc. x
Bing Bong being permanently forgotten even trying so hard to climb the mountain, he still can’t because he’s been erased from memories already
And the way Bing Bong being forgotten symbolizes how at one point in all of our lives we start to grow out of our childhood, and move on from things like imaginary friends.

I agree with you 100% and mine is only 12 🙂🥲
Yup. Mine is younger, but I definitely relate to what you're saying.

@@thomasmartin5503 I agree- it was not actually until "Inside Out's" line Joy said of "Do you remember when she used to stick her tongue out when she was coloring?"... which really hit me like a truck (given the surrounding circumstances in the movie). I learned that thanks to "Inside Out".)

But like I said, it's still actually difficult for me to find a reliable "trigger" to produce tears from me (and hence my sought-after endorphins!). I swear it's not because I'm heartless lol... I think it's due to my earlier-in-life unfortunate self-training I'd done. I hope to learn to cry more easily... I definitely want to! "My Girl" definitely did it, too. And, the "winner" for most intense tear-triggering from me was... "The Land Before Time." It depends. The more close aged siblings/cousins you had while growing up, the less actual physical toys mean.

*stat crying instantly* I was literally sobbing throughout that whole video.
7:54 - After hearing what she said there, I knew the next one would be Up. I'm pretty sure most people clicked on this video to see where Up would be, and what her reaction would be.
"It's fine" 😂poor Kenzie
I was doing so well, but you had to put Inside Out and Up. Well played Harris, well played.
Almost cried with you... I’m a doctor in the middle of this crazy Covid 19 crisis in a place like São PaUlo, Brazil and that was somehow the most touching thing I’ve seen today. Thanks for the inspiration. We feel more human after watching you...
"Take her to the moon for me... okay?"
Most heart wrenching phrase that if I hear it I will ball up and cry until I fall asleep
I was already wrecked by the earlier bit with Joy realising the true role of Sadness and the need for it in Riley's life - it's just too real, like the end of childhood in one shot and it really hits you in the gut. Bing Bong just twisted the knife afterwards.
I’ve seen all these movies and all these scenes made me cry while watching them with my kids. And now rewatching these clips making me cry again…
Land Before Time's: "Momma, get up!"
You can hear it as you read it. So heart breaking.
I thought i had buried this thought forever .... until now
All Dogs Go To Heaven
Goodbye Scene
I had just dried my eyes after watching the video, you fiend!
Throwback for me. I watched that when I was like 5.
Toy Story 3 “Now Woody... - Thanks Guys”
Coco: Putting Mama Coco’s photo up on the ofrenda
Onward: Watching Dad disappear
Cars 3: Lighting McQueen’s photo with Cruz next to Doc
Soul : Epiphany
The theory about the UP movie is that Carl is actually dead in his sleep and his guardian angel is the kid Russell and Carl journey to heaven aka Paradise Falls to reunite with his wife Ellie.

I was just watching “inside out” and I started to cry at the end when Riley re-united with her parents. I didn’t even feel it coming I just started to cry because of how much I related to what happened in the movie.
Pixar: Playing people's heart strings like guitars since the beginning of time.
Me: I'm not gonna cry coz I'm not a bit-
Pixar: *STUPID I AIN'T GON LET YOU GET THE CHANCE*
I never cried with monsters inc
But this time was different
Love the UP reaction...🤣🤣🤣!!! Exactly how we reacted the first time seeing it and every single time after. Disney masterminds hit a new bar with that one.
I made a river the first time I saw toy story 3
Peck Head I was a senior in high school too when toy story 3 came out and I was with my friends I try so hard not to cry in front of my friends but I did cry when I was in the restrooms when the movie was over
* Whispers * ..**show me the princess**
Same here
I’ve never cried at a movie but UP brought me the closet to breaking me down 😭
You can tell that Kenzie has a heart of gold. She makes the world a more loving place.
I cried everytime. Every. single. time.
