People keep this in mind nerd means the smartest person in class or in all classes. That's a really good thing! So if a bully says you are a nerd technicaly they are giving you a compliment. Also its a great comeback too all you to say is thank you for the compliment.

Remember, reputation(in high school) doesn't always matter. It doesn’t really help that much in the future, obviously. Because, for example, if you're applying to get into a college, they won’t really care about you being 'miss popular' or whatever. Same goes to applying for a job. But, i guess its natural human behavior to care about this stuff. Still, don’t do reckless things just for your 'reputation'. Especially if its about grades.
