Praying for a submod with alternative cockpit models bc I can’t STAND the cannon ones. Unpopular opinion I actually prefer the squadrons models. Thats my feedback keep it up Angel thanks again.
Outstanding work! I've wanted to see this for a long time. I love the speed of the turbo lasers. Much more realistic and intimidating. Maneuvering capital ships is something I've been wanting for a long time. They are "ships" not platforms. They would have their own characteristics, weight, and inertia. I want to be chased by a Star Destroyer group like the Falcon was in Empire, and this is the first step toward that. Explosions looking so much better and smoother.... BRAVO!! THANK YOU FOR THIS WORK AND EFFORT!!!
I just learned about XWA:TFTC while getting old DOS games to play and am absolutely blown away by the depth and breadth of this mod. To everyone who worked on this mod, you have truly amazing talent and a transcendental passion for games. Fly on!
This looks freaking amazing! I can't wait for the Reimagined Campaign to be finished! It is what I wish LucasArts had gotten around to 20 years ago, but even better!
@Angel Please tell me that there are campaigns to push the story into the Imperial Remnant. I recall you saying there was a mod that puts you in a preybird. I really want to fight the Vong.
Check out Embers of the Empire thats in development (The channel is in our Discord server). To my knowledge though, no one has made any Vong ships or campaigns involving them.
Only Reimagined. Classic will remain unaffected but the new weapon controls I have mean I can now make Classic even closer in behaviour to the OG TIE Fighter, such as correct rates of fire, damage outputs and even offer the default XWA laser speeds or the OG slow laser speeds as a possible gameplay choice. I have otherwise no intentions of changing Classic to be anything other than as close as possible to the original in all aspects of narrative, mission design and behaviour.
