Worth noting.. when you zoom in to 3x and above the camera will switch back to the main sensor for macros giving you very high quality shots. Anything below 3x and macro mode uses the lesser quality wide angle lens

I'll definitely be able to use this info...thanks! I've noticed when trying to take close up shots of my cats, that it switches to that macro mode and it doesn't look nearly as good.

Try to shoot macro with the periscope camera you will get better result..normaly i'll take macro pic with 10x on my oneplus 12

It might say AF it it's not been tapped.

Yes AF becomes MF when you start sliding the bar or when you tap the "A"
