Just love your channel, Hayley. Exceptional content, fun smile, beautiful personality. You guys fly well together too and are funny. So professional! Don’t ever change.
Loved part 1, this didn’t disappoint. I like diamonds, having not flown for 25 yrs, I flew a da40 to get back into it. The instructor said I hadn't lost anything, which I attribute to learning at 16 in a 7ac champ, & the da40!
Well Hayley, Part 2 did not disappoint. From that delicious looking pizza to the historic hotel and, of course, your smooth radio voice, Part 2 is a home run 🤗
I was a little boy when they started building Commanders. They were in an aviation mag I read all the time back then and I immediately fell in love with that airplane. I still love them, and wished I had bought one when I had the chance. Get one soon! They are so cool.
Love the content, highly interested in making a Diamond my next aircraft. Unrelated, I envy your cross country diet choices haha pizza/cookies/biscuits haha! Personally, I'd have to alter my weight and balance after a few trips because of this pilot's weight enjoying meals like that. Pictures or it didn't happen hahaha
Thanks for taking the time to post videos, I said it in your comments section before, I don't understand why you don't have a bigger subscriber base considering the quality of your video and you're on camera relaxed presence. Not to mention your great piloting skills and the time you take to educate those watching about general aviation in general. Hope you keep posting, and I'm confident that it some point you'll see a sudden boost in your subscriber base you certainly deserve it.
you have the best job!!! love these trips! thanks for bringing us along. landings were soo smooth. as cool as that DA50 is, I still kinda prefer Debi 🥰 ps there's never too much food😁 Fun video!
Hayley thanks you so very much for this information and fantastic flight and day 2 of your trip please keep on making great videos and always fly safely
@@FlywithHayley BTW watching from Australia. I entertained the idea of chasing my RPL some 15 years ago at age 50 now 65 and watching these videos sparks that interest. That said general aviation here is expensive and with retirement looming flying my Harley is as close to flying as I reckon I will get. Appreciate what you, so I guess I will remain a YT aviator.
Here's a little bit of trivia for you. The difference in your body between living at sea level and living in, say, the High Sierras, is in the mountains, after being there for about 6 weeks you have an extra pint of blood in your body. It is produced to help you carry more oxygen through your system. That's why Olympic athletes trained at Lake Tahoe for the Mexico City Olympics. They needed that extra pint of blood to handle that city's (Mexico City) altitude. Once you have that extra blood you don't get winded so easily anymore. Also, some athletes in the past have taken a pint of blood out of their bodies and put it in refrigeration. They then trained normally while their body replaced that blood. Then they would put back the blood they took out to make their bodies more able to oxygenate their system. That was ruled illegal and called "blood doping". So, to get that result naturally, an athlete would train at altitude for at least 6 weeks before competing at altitude. I found all this out as kid living at Lake Tahoe where the Olympic athletes trained. Amazing time to be in Tahoe, actually. Still is. Cheers
Nice video and professional flying. I wonder that after 2 hours a stop with Pizza was necessary. Need to check weight and balance of the plane 😂. Greetings from Switzerland.
She's flying a brand new DA50RG and says, "ohhhhh a Commander, I want a Commander. I was looking for a Commander for a long time." As a Commander owner, this made me laugh on the inside. 13:10 time. 112TC model in the video
Thank you Captain for a n interesting flight. The wing tip GoPro is a great view during flight. How is it mounted so it is not lost when flying? Could you mount a GoPro next to the engine? For some of us the sound of the engine at takeoff is " music to our ears".

He has a great radio voice :)
Haha I was just gonna say that. If avation doesn’t work out for him he could also do audio books 😂
I loved the "Somewhere" clock! 😂
Lol yeah. I always 5 o clock somewhere 🍻

Fantastic video. The RG is a fantastic plane. Definitely on the “if I win the lottery” list.
Good morning from Minnesota! Great episode!
Thank you for posting these videos, you've inspired me to take flying lessons!!!
Absolutely beautiful !! The airplane is not bad either.

Great video, wow you were very close to me in Hot Springs. Next time stop in TXK and say hi..

I get the same result with a pint of beer!
The term is blood packing.
Ist’s a very good aircraft

The names for the RNAV approach waypoints for my home airport (KUKT) are derived from the movie, The day the earth stood still.
Checked it out George, very cool ! Now i have to shoot that approach in X-Plane 12.

Love you girl!!!
nice!
I think I saw your co pilot in an movie called Harry and the Hendersons
Is that really the best computer generated voice they could find for the ATIS?
Was thinking the same thing. It’s 2024 guys…not the ‘70s for God’s sake!
That is one slick looking plane. It should be right?
WOW!..

She looks like Craig T. Nelson.
Are those Randolph Amelia Runway sunglasses, out of curiosity?
they are! I love them! have a discount in the bio if you’re interested :)
The DA50RG seems to have everything including AC and deicing. Does it have an onboard microwave to warm up the pizza?
What is the guarantee that it will not be as bad as the Da62 in terms of quality control, spare parts, after sales support/service?
Beautiful plane
Can you tell me why the tail configuration is the way it is? What is the advantage for the configuration? Thank you.
What? You didn't buzz the Ewings at Southfork Ranch?
Some ferries of Diamonds you did alone, others you had a companion. Why were those happened?
First.
Rad! Thanks for the love 🙏🏼
Windshield looks a little small. Disability ok? Side windows are large, though.
What is the advantage of the high tail wing
👍🏼👍🏻❤️
What does the “RG” in DA50RG stand for?
My guess would be retractable gear……???
Are you instructing at the moment?
not at the moment no! transitioning into different flying jobs :)
You are a beautiful woman and doing what I wish I had done when I was a young man.
It would be much better to move the camera directly towards the dashboard...
Why is it so hard to lose your hand? Because most of the time you can put your finger on it.
How come the 60 year old dude isn't in the thumb nail?
he'll be in the next one just for you! - he was the one taking the photo though that's why he's not in them
Day 2 of asking where the Peabody ducks….what the Duck!?
Please cut the music when you speak… (for this kind of video, music is not necessary : engine sound is preferred!)
