The definition of a Pick-Me is that they’re someone who puts others down to make themself look better. It’s okay to be trying to impress someone, but it’s not okay to put others down to achieve that.

Last school year, I would just cry every single time I couldn't solve a problem by myself. I could have asked for help but for some reason...I just didn't. I was completely aware of this and I thought that because of it people automatically disliked me (which was kind of true) and I didn't know how to stop, but I wanted to stop. Im still paranoid about it (about people not liking me for it) but I joke around about it sometimes because I stopped, and I thought it was stupid. In conclusion, if you cry a lot people think you're over dramatic, annoying, and do nothing but cry.

I was called a pick-me for being a tomboy, and just made fun of in general for not liking girly things. Like- huh? I just don't like wearing makeup or wearing super revealing clothes. (That's what a lot of people call "girly" nowadays.) What's wrong with that???
The main one is the makeup. Why do people get so mad when I refuse to wear it? Like- they say "ohHhH you don't wear makeup cuz ur not like 'oThEr GiRls' huh?" like uh no, I just find it uncomfortable, and just don't really like it in general.
