The Birmingham Safeguarding Adults Board has produced a film to raise awareness of hoarding and to guide professionals on what kinds of interventions seem to work the best so that the people affected (both the person who hoards and other people whose lives this impacts upon) get the support that they need.

This made me cry.I too suffer from depression too and my house is a p igsty.I don't hoard but don't tidy up after myself also not looking after myself too.Been self neglecting myself and the house for a few yrs now😢😔

What physical help did Keith receive? Did he have people come in to move stuff? I’m becoming less and less able to move, to lift, to carry so who is going to help in that respect??
