    I know I am being hyped when the product comes with a unless cover. Some products presentation far exceeds value. Truly carefully designed survival products would not require a cover that if used would certainly overheat the unit.

    • @electronicsNmore
      @electronicsNmore  4 года назад +2

      Hyped? I don't hype, you should know that after being a sub for 6 years. How is supplying a buyer with a protective cover considered useless? I think it's great for protecting the unit, especially when it's not being used. People piss away $1000 or more on smartphones that they don't need(To be "trendy"), so if I had a choice between a rip off smartphone and a high power output portable power station like this one, I'd take the power station. This is not a survival product, it's a compact power station for emergency use, camping, boating, etc. Clearly you wouldn't use this unit in rain with the cover on. Thanks for watching

    Nice review, thank you. However, I almost questioned your credibility over your statement, re:, the user guide. "I felt it was well written but it did have a few spelling errors." This guide, I found is extremely poorly written, with literally mistakes on virtually every page. I'm having a hard time understanding how a company, even in China, will not or cannot produce a creditable user's manual. Simply unbelievable! I have a hard time learning the technical specs even if they are clearly presented. And your presentation, while excellent did not enlighten me that much. Not to fault you for that, but I fell you misrepresented the manual as noted. So I have to accept my unit on faith alone and it does appear to be an excellent entry in these power fields. I'm a technical writer and that may account for my criticisms. Still want to learn more about the electrical jargon to better understand usage and applications.

    • @electronicsNmore
      @electronicsNmore  3 года назад

      I guess you haven't seen too many instruction manuals for Chinese products, compared to many other products, it was well written. My viewers know all about my credibility, unlike many other channels on RUclips, I don't make videos just to sell products

    This unit is very impressive, as shown, but as for the price tag, I feel that it is quite a bit too expensive. As for the warranty, it should be warranted for up to 5 years! In addition to the warranty, there should be an option for an owner to be able to replace those batteries and/or upgrade those batteries at wholesale price instead of raking the owners over the coals!!! If a solar manufacturer like Renology can warranty their product for 5 years, then why in the hell can't this manufacturer do the same! If that unit is highly managed by it circuitry inside for battery and power management on the consumption side, why then are they trying to rip yah a big one on the price to begin with? To sum it all up folks, a two year warranty on this product just doesn't cut it, along with the price tag; I truly wouldn't buy it. I realize that start-up costs, design and implementation costs can be rather high, but to openly pummel the consumer with a cost figure like around $1800. bucks;......get outa here!!! Essentially there's about $560 dollars worth of batteries to start with. Probably around $340 bucks worth of valuable circuitry, and as far as all other aspects of accessories case, packing and shipping. Assembling, engineering fees and profit to be made??? Even at $1300 bucks for a price tag might seem too high!

    • @electronicsNmore
      @electronicsNmore  4 года назад +1

      All these type of units are high in price. 5 years never happen, 2 is very reasonable. You only get 1 year warranty on overpriced iPhones, so 2 years for this is very good. Renogy doesn't warranty for 5 years on all products, and if you want to see overpriced, look how much money a 200W renogy is. Based on the price of the Renogy unit, the EF Delta is a better deal.
