This is ridiculous. I'm having the same problem. My center burner, with the dual orifice, does not have the paint drip to coordinate with the proper orifice. Called two kitchen aide numbers, both said call your LP provider. LP provider said without the proper color they can't help. Kitchenaid gave me two numbers of installers in my area. They said the exact same thing and one of them even hung up on me. Called my furnace guy and he said the same thing.
I ordered a Kitchenaid gas cooktop with propane conversion kit. Orphis kit does match burners, 2 burners have no color at all. My installer could not install LP kit since the colors did not match. Called Costco and Kitchenaid, they said return, got a replacement, exact same issue. 2 burners have no paint dot, one burner has a blue dot but no coordinating blue dot on conversion kit. Is there some underground Kitchenaid scematic or labeling guide to use when paint dots don't match up? The burners have different number sequence on them..
I am also having this same issue. Model number KCGS356ESS00. 9 replacement orifices, only 6 are needed. And 1 blue, one green, and one white dot, two blanks.
Any luck on this. What a joke I have to disassemble the entire unit to adjust the dual burners and the dual burners have no color code on them. I've installed multiple gas and propane cooktops before and this is needlessly complicated. I've tried to call Kitchenaid to ask if burners without a color don't require an orifice change...all they can do is schedule a service call and it will be 3rd party who probably won't know either.
Can you please explain how the spring for the dual torch burner shown at (:55) is installed? My service technician insisted that the spring didn't belong in the location of the orifices.
Hello. I am trying to convert this same stove top. Mine did not come with a guide for proper orifice installation. For the dual burners, must the orifices be changed or just the adjustment of inner and outer flame screws?

also same issue, please let me know if anyone has found a solution.
Any link where buy the kit
For the money Kitchenaid charges why can’t they assemble the range for LP if requested instead of making the installer waste all this time
Great vid helped me convert my cooktop to LP
I followed all these steps but my cooktop didn’t ignite afterwards

Wow! I have the same problem and in the comments there is no solution. Guess I have to return the Kitchenaid and buy another brand? Thoughts/Comments?

I have the same question about the dual burner
