Right On! 🙌 Thanks John! I love that little Proto nut driver handle! I was just in your neck of the woods for a quick visit with family and got some pizza! 🍕 Next trip we’ll have to get a slice at your favorite spot!
Excellent step by step, I always wondered about these conversions. Thanks Jon and good to see you back! Oh, and remember, next Friday is Hawaiian shirt day!
Great video! Thx for posting. I followed for my set up NAT to LP. Burners are on, but not burning cleaning. Flame is too big, and yellow orange at the tips, leaving soot on the bottom of the pans, the flame power changes when more/less burners come on, and when the extra low/simmer level is selected the flame goes out. Any ideas?
Right On! 🙌 I would check the orifice specs on the unit again to make sure you have the right size installed. Sometimes there are air control inlets for each burner that you can open and close to let more air flow to the burner. Mostly in older stoves. An orange flame is letting in too much air. Orifice might need to be smaller. They are easy to swap out. I’d try smaller sizes until the flam looks good. Hope you get it fixed! - Jon
It all depends on what size pipe you’re running. You want one that will accept the correct pipe size. Be it 1/2” or 3/4”. It should be 11 inches of water column in most cases. 11WC. Then there is another regulator at the stove itself. Usually the same. But smaller in size, still 11WC . Hope that helps. Check your stove specs to make sure.
Jon, a long time ago, when I worked on oil burners, I was told to NEVER touch the nozzel tips with my bare fingers, because the acid in the hands would eat out the holes and not burn correctely, so would that still apply to the burner tips on a gas stove. Is his correct or not, if you know? Thanks
Hi Matt! I have not heard that. I dug around a little on the internet and could not find anything. But that’s a good thing to research. 🔬🙌 Right On! 🙌 Hope you’re doing great!
That’s a cool project! I’ve got an old stove from my grandmother that I want to convert as well. It’s from the 50’s. A little different conversion on those stoves. 🙌
Very nice conversion Jon! The stove top looks brand new again. Right on Jon! 👍📽🇺🇲
Right On, thanks Roger! 🙌 the scratches in the stainless came out with that wire wheel. I was happy with the result!
Outstanding video Jon! Excellent conversion. That 7mm Nut Driver is just beautiful.

@@RightOnJonCrane awesome, thanks. I'm running 1/2 " pipe. That's what I needed to know.
