Thank you for taking the time to learn how to perform this conversion and then taking the time to produce a how-to video for the rest of us. The “instruction” manual is darn near useless for help on anything other than the obvious. Without your video, this would have been an almost impossible task. Thanks again.
Thank you so much! GE did not bother to explain how to do the oven oriface at all. It just said, "change the oriface out". Your explanation and demonstration helped greatly! You're the best!
Thank you for posting this. I came to find the part about the regulator adjustment. The written instructions weren't crystal clear to me and your video helped me find the way!
Thanks you! The directions that came with the range were not clear on the pressure regulator conversion. They could have made it clear, as you did, by simply explaining that you flip the adapter over and reinstall. I would never have figured it out without your help and I appreciate that. Well done!
Update to my previous comment, I was able to remove the Natural Gas Orifice and Install the propane Orifice... what gave me the most difficulty?? Lol, the bottom broiler burner cover inside the oven. Done !! Oven if coming up to temp for cooking and baking at 350. Thanks for the video... ya saved me waiting for a service tech who has not gotten back to me with an appointment.. the stove has been hooked up about 1 week now ,, THANKS AGAIN!!
This is an excellent video. I wasn't sure how to convert the pressure regulator because of that red cap that was on it. your video was excellent. Thanks very much. Eliot
Great video very through on conversion. My bake burner is not lighting but I will check for conversion and blockage on the orifice not sure if it was converted to propane or NG. Thanks for a great video.
Excellent video!! I was very nervous about doing the conversion myself but after following your video I was able to do it with ease, thanks for the confidence!
Enjoy your work. Hope you can offer a troubleshooting idea for our Kenmore propane stove/oven. When on the bake setting, it takes some 20 minutes to reach cooking temperature. She mentioned that during the cook it seems to not be recovering temperature fast enough. In the end, the food on the outside is done, the inside is not. To compensate somewhat, she uses the convection setting to get a little better result. Your thoughts and God bless.
The video was great. Think it would be beneficial to less experienced installers if you covered the main LP connection on the back and checking for leaks. FYI. The darn orifice sizes are so small that you need your phone to read the data. The colors are not very good. Otherwise, you did a great video.
Great video and well explained. One question though, I just purchased the same model and there's an additional step you omitted. That's the adjustment (on the instruction sheet) for the air shutter setting for the oven burner. Did you miss that?
I have question - after convert to propane, and then connect propane to the propane inlet - what about the NG inlet that has just a plastic cap..? Does that get capped or anything?
Why didn't you show how to replace the orifice in the broiler. It's the only thing I needed to know because I can't remove the tube on my range to get at the orifice.
I recently purchased a GE model PGB965BPTS and successfully converted it to propane use except once I reversed the part for propane use the part is a 5/16 male brass fitting that wouldn't attach to the 5/8 supply line! Where would I get the part needed! I went to Lowes where I purchased the range from but they had no clue! Can you advice? Thank William
I have a question and I don’t know if you can answer it but I’m hoping. I installed my GE five burner yesterday here in Costa Rica. Unfortunately it has sat in an open air bodega for months. Excessive moisture here has damaged the spark module. The unit sparks continuously when plugged in. I will probably have to go back to the United States to find another spark module to be honest. My question is, can I remove a spark module so that I can use my oven? I’m more than used to lighting my gas stove with a lighter.
I wonder if conversion for high-altitude operation of range is similar? The detailed instructions you followed here do not seem to be available for the high altitude conversion kit.
I had this oven for about 25 min...I had turned on the broiler to burn off the new oven smell as suggested by the propane servicer...the control panel shut down after 25 min and the oven would not turn on. I opened the broiler to check and I saw the White wire was visible....I have had the oven replaced today and the wire is in the same place (so no fault of the propane service man who converted). I am really worried that the wiring is going to get melted again... Any advice?
Any suggestions when the threads don’t line up when trying to convert one of the burners? It was going smooth until I tried to convert the rear left burner, and it simply won’t screw down.
That annoying background "music" really did ruin the quality of the video. P.S. Only one of five orifices had the same diameter stamped on it. And none of the colors matched.

This helped me considerably! Way better than the directions or lack of they include with the unit. Thank you
Love your review. It helped me and my father convert our stove from natural gas to propane. Great step to step explanation!!!
I purchased a new stove and could not find anyone to change it over from NG to Propane, your video made it so simple, I appreciate your information.
Thanks you! The directions that came with the range were not clear on the pressure regulator conversion. Thank you, in most of the videos .the people don't turn on the stove to show it works. Job well done!
Very thorough! I really appreciated it! You just didn't show how to adjust the airflow on the oven burner, but I found another video with that in it.
Can you post the link to other video?

WHY are there not a million likes on this video. The included instructions with the stove are a total joke. Great work!!!!!
This is an excellent video. I wasn't sure how to convert the pressure regulator because of that red cap that was on it. your video was excellent. Thanks very much. Eliot
Very helpful. Much more clear than the printed instructions.
Thank you! Excellent video for a old landlord with not much money.
Thank you. I will install my GE range this weekend. I'm tired of fixing the SamJunk that's only 4 yrs old.
Great video very through on conversion. My bake burner is not lighting but I will check for conversion and blockage on the orifice not sure if it was converted to propane or NG. Thanks for a great video.

Glad it helped!
Life saver, clear and precise on what to do
Deciphering GE's hieroglyphics was not funny your video made this project a breeze Thanks!!!
Fantastic! Had the stove ready before Husband even got home!! Thank you.. the video was perfect
Good job! A 1/4" socket wrench for the small screws and a 1/2" deep socket for the oven work more quicklly.
Thank you!!!! Made the job much easier than the instructions implied!!
Thank you so much. The instructions that came with it were terrible. This video was extremely helpful and useful.
This video was a huge help to me.. especially the Oven Orifice.. thanks I might get this project done today 1 Jan 2022..
Happy New Year ,,!
Great video very easy to follow and so much easier than i thought i was embarking on 😅
Enjoy your work.

Awesome video!! I am awaiting my GE gas stove right now and will be converting it over to LP. This was super helpful and Thank You!!
Fantastic video very well made, to the point, and easy to follow. Thank you very much!
Thank you very much for taking time to make this video. It helped greatly.
Thank you for this! It was a God send. Especially the Pro tip using tape... brilliant. I've heard it stinks to drop one of those!
Followed the steps, everything went smooth.
Thanks!!!
This is the only video that shows adjusting the flame on the burner
SO HELPFUL!!! thanks so much for posting this- now we're cooking with gas 🔥
Loved the video but you skipped over the air shutter! The other video for a different model had a mark. Mine has no mark. Help!

The darn orifice sizes are so small that you need your phone to read the data. The colors are not very good. Otherwise, you did a great video.
Do you need to adjust the oven flame as well? Great video by the way, very helpful
Perfect, detailed and exactly what's needed. Thank you!

I have that same question
Excellent instruction. Thank you.
How long was this process to change out the orifices, thank you
I have question - after convert to propane, and then connect propane to the propane inlet - what about the NG inlet that has just a plastic cap..? Does that get capped or anything?
Can you give some info on the fittings need to connect the regulator to a 20lbs propane tank Please.
That is my only hurdle right now.
Thank You Sir
this was a huge help. thank you!
Very much appreciate it man! Super thorough!!!
Excellent video! Thank you!

Exactly what I needed. Thank you for the video!

I guess it could also be ignition switches. I don’t have a multimeter ☹️

Can you please send me the model number to this stove or a link to the exact manual please
Great video thanks so much!!!!!!
What part of the video did you change the regulator ?
Thank you
WHERE CAN I BUY THIS KIT?
ITS NOT INCLUDED IN MY STOVE.
Thanks
Want to sell those NG Orifices? I can't find them anywhere for sale. Thanks!
the boiler doesn't need to be worked on? Changed??
The broiler is down at the bottom and shares the burner for baking. So, no.
perfect
Grasias
what about the broiler>???
Stop using your phone in the vertical position. I can't see a thing...
A dewalt screwgun helps....

womp womp cry about it
People love to bitch this video was great
I can’t😢😢😢
Poor Feller..
Between the music and the constant camera angle change this video was unbearable
Thank you
