This doctor has integrity. I went to his office for a consult. I wanted a tummy tuck, lipo and breast implant replacement. Instead of trying to sell me all this, he made it a point to explain the risks and why all of these surgeries pose risks. I appreciated his honestly and the way he explained the potential complications there could be in my particular case. I am still trying to decide if all this is right for me. You know you have found a good surgeon when he doesn't try and sell you on the fantasy that you'll look perfect and instead is realistic.
Those are 3 major surgeries. Likely you would need multiple consultations. I think you should probably seek counseling & get some help for your mental well being. Any good surgeon would tell you that’s where to start. Once you have the money, are committed to the after care, and have realistic expectations, I’m sure no doctor would turn you down to move forward. Because you need replacement surgery for your breast implants, you are no stranger to major surgery. To me, it seems that you’re dealing with something much bigger here. And I hope you have the family/friend support you need.
One of my relatives is a plastic surgeon and at one point he had a man in the room pulling the "WE WANT DD'S" thing and he said "Sir, if you want a consult you'll have to book your own but for now I'm taking care of your wife". The husband got SUPER mad lmao
I would like to say as someone with a natural GG cup chest, no you don't want a big chest oh my god. Its gone beyond back pain, now they pull on my ribs as an attempt to not rip off my body. I feel like its a thing not many people understand when they naturally have a small chest and want to go bigger. Implants might be lighter tho idk
@@tobywood00 I hear you. I'm not as big as you, but still quite chesty, and I've never understood why people would want that voluntarily. I know people always say you want what you can't have, but this isnt like just getting a perm when there's serious health issues involved.
@@tobywood00 Plus just the little things too on addition to backpain. Running is impossible, idk if every busty women is like this but even with a bra it's just so much pain from all the bouncing. I loathe when partners think they’re entitled to someone else’s body and act like they’ll die without sex. Simple solution, if you’re worried you’re going to suffer without sex, enjoy doing so while single because you don’t deserve to have a partner.
I saw that on Divorce Court. He wanted sex the SAME DAY she got out of the hospital after a breast augmentation because "hE pAiD fOr ThEm, So ThEy'Re HiS".
I have to say this, my previous bosses wife had to go in for an emergency hysterectomy and I having had one said to him she must take it very easy for 6 or 7 weeks, with everything, all he said to me was " but what about me" I could not believe all he was worried about was his sex life, and he was on his early 60"s and she late 50's at the time. 😑
I'm in a number of women's health groups on FB and this attitude is super common. There are women crying and upset because their husbands or partners are angry and expecting BJs while they are trying to recover from hysterectomies and other reproductive procedures.

I went recently with my Aunt to get her haircut since she needed someone to load some shelves she was picking up afterwards from the store into her van. And while she was explaining what kind she wanted she said that she'd like it "Cut pretty short, but just trim it because (My Uncle) doesn't want it super short and likes it long." The first thing outta my mouth was, "Who cares? Is it his body and hair? No. Do what YOU want." But the fact that she felt like she had to take that into consideration still made me feel sad.
@@sarahcarrier5118 This is a classic sign of abuse that shows up especially in cosmetology school. A friend does hair (and medical estheticology). Because of where she went to school, there was a high population of relatively low income women with "boyfriends" at hand to dictate their hair cuts. The only good news was that the program director got savvy years ago so many times they would sneak resources and a contact for a safety network to the women while they got services. More than once they got law enforcement (sucessfully) involved to lock up a serial rapist and abuser. It's a rarity considering the number of times the information was refused but it never hurt to ask. I wish more cosmetology schools would be savvy enough to get the partners to step outside, regardless of what the partner or wife insists.

I was in a hair and nail salon and a woman came in with her bf/husband. He made the appointment and picked out everything. Distinctly determined how he wanted her hair and all... The stylist who was serving them pulled the lady to the hair washing station just behind me and starting asking if she was okay. Was she being abused etc... And the gf was desperately trying to explain no, it's a kink thing to doll her up as he wanted. Hair, nails, makeup, and all. Their normal salon was closed for a bridal event. Do you not realize how painful they are? Especially for me? And how uncomfortable they can be? I never had one but I was with my dad when he had surgery and they put a catheter in him. All he did was complain about that catheter and he was on some pain meds afterwards. So why would a doctor want that during surgery?
I would really love it if more of these doctors ever referenced the fact that cup size is only relative to band size. There is no such thing as volume for a DD cup. A DD on a small woman and a DD on a larger woman are completely different sizes. Using cup size generalizations in these consultations and videos leads to a complete misunderstanding of breast size and bra sizing for many.
Quit being so picky. Having a complete and comprehensive understanding of how bra sizing works is not necessary for everyone to learn. Giving a general cup size is fine for most ppl to have a general understanding of how big the breast in reference is. For example, we know a = small and dd = big on an average woman. Getting into band sizes would just unnecessarily complicate things in what’s meant to be a fairly short, entertaining video for all types of people to watch.
In France we always talk about breast sizes with the band size number before, I've literally never heard someone just said their cup without it except if maybe you already mentioned it before in the conversation if you say something like "yes I was a 75DD and gone to a D now". I'm always confused why Americans never tell the band size before, as you said it rightfully, it changes A LOT, I was a 70H and as I'll admit it's already a very big size, I often would see people being a D or DD when obese and it looked twice my size at least
I went to my breast augmentation consultation alone. My husband went to the preop to get his instructions about where to bring me, how long to expect it to take, and post op instructions. He never gave an input on size. I just got what I wanted. He said I was perfect the way I was and he says I'm perfect now.
The mustache husband at the end is so real. My father in law asked my husband how he was surviving when I was 6 weeks out from giving birth. I had some intense tearing and pelvic floor issues but we're back to normal after PT and patience!

It might be good to add that when dealing with carcinogenicity (or any form of harm), the dose is always important. In toxicology, you'll find 2 terms frequently used, hazard and risk, yet they tend to be interchangeable in the general public. Hazard relates to the ability of a given chemical to cause an adverse health effect (cancer in this instance), but just focuses on the potential of this effect happening. Basically, it means that a given chemical can have carcinogenic activity, regardless of the conditions under which the effect is seen. Risk is a combination of hazard, and the dose/exposure. It relates to the probability that a given chemical will cause an adverse effect and takes the kind and amount of exposure into account (establishment of the biological gradient). This means that any given chemical can have carcinogenic activity, and as such is classified as a carcinogenic hazard, but the conditions that are required to see an increased chance of developing cancer are not typically experienced, so the carcinogenic risk is minuscule. This is really a big problem for many people to understand, particularly as the IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer) only classifies according to the carcinogenic hazard potential, while literally every regulatory agency (EPA, EFSA, Health Canada, ect) bases their classifications on risk, as they need to identify the conditions under which a hazard occurs so that the regulatory limits are set far below this. Never forget that EVERYTHING can cause harm under the right (...or wrong I guess), conditions.
Sun is the easiest example. It's 100% certain that excess radiation will cause cancer, but we cant actually live healthy in the long term without it either.
@@verybarebones It's that way for literally everything, and Dr. Youn actually mentions one excellent example frequently, retinol. Retinol, or vitamin A1, is something that we need to be healthy, but in its active state (which retinol is), it can build up quite quickly in the liver, as its sequestering and storage is highly efficient (~85% of dietary retinol) in most mammalian species. Conversely, provitamin A, mainly in the form of beta carotene, and other carotenoids can be ingested at ridiculously high levels, as they are pretty well inactive metabolically on their own, and the conversion of provitamin A to the active retinol molecule is tightly regulated (what the body needs, and not much more). Lesson for the day, eat as many carrots as you like, but if offered seal or polar bear liver, give it a pass. For a more extreme example of the dose makes the poison, whenever I get tapped to teach a 1st year tox/biochem class, I'll start the relevant lecture by dissolving ~1mg of potassium cyanide in 1L of water, and then proceed to consume it over the course of the class.
@@SirberusKhaos In a way, they are doing so. Their laws make use f the IARC classifications in terms of labelling chemicals, and the IARC only assesses hazards, not risks. ...California just neglects to mention this detail, and that exposure data has nothing to do with their warning labels.

I've had stretched ears for 16 years, can not recall a single time my ears have gotten caught on anything, not even a comb. Wtf u on😂 tearing happens because they're stretched either too large or too fast.
@Melissa C it depends on the material of the jewellery, all piercings have this smell, its dead skin cells and sweat essentially. Even regular tiny ones smell. Natural materials are the best to prevent smell.
@Melissa C and has a lot to do with individual hygiene as well.... if you can smell the ears without being nose right up to them, that person has very poor hygiene. And that's on them, not stretched lobes in general

I had a sretchwd earlobe before. It was not the size of the first girls but it was enlarged. I managed to let it close up by itself even though it is still a little larger then the other. Anyway here is some facts they don't usually tell you about stretching your earlobe. 1 everytime you stretch the lobe further an odor is going to appear. It stinks. You will need to clean it with some sanitizing solution, be careful though because anything like rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide will trigger a reaction where a scar forms and the hole closes up. Ask in the pharmacy for the right cleaning products. 2 it is not easy to let the hole close up once you pass a certain point. While a little hole may close up and heal into a normal pierced ear even though it will take quite some time, once you stretch your lobe past 10 mm (even less then that in some cases, I would say keep it 7 or less) there is no return. You will have to get surgery to have a normal earlobe again. 3 this is something many people do but I would like to tell you anyway. If your lobes are stretched but you would like to wear a normal long earring from time to time there are 2 ways. Either you do 2 normal piercings right above the stretched hole and put pendants in them, or you can just buy 2 nude colored tunnel rings for your stretched holes and put your pendants or hoops right under the tunnel into the stretched lobe. There are also some tunnel earrings made of a soft material like silicone with a little piercing hole in the middle where you can put your earrings, those can be found on the internet. They are made to make your ear look normal for some time if you want to look different for a day even though they work better with lobes that are still not very deformed. Overall stretched lobes are dangerous (they can go into necrosis and your lobes falls off, they can get infected quite easily) also they are difficult to close up and they require maintenance. I would advise to use fake large earrings like these www.etsy.com/market/fake_stretched_ear So you can always change your mind when you get bored and avoid the pain and possible complications of the real thing. Anyway have a lovely day, afternoon or night depending on where you live (here it is 00.39) and know you are awesome! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Regarding the smell, it’s literally the same oil your hair makes. You’d have this with regular piercings. There’s no need for specific cleaners just take them out and wash them with soap/shampoo. Simple. Regarding necrosis, this is only a real risk if you stretch too fast. The slower you go, the more healthy they will be. The same applies if you want to close them. Just do what you did to stretch In reverse. Generally speaking the cut off point is 12mm.

What do we do if we wear makeup? I hear cleansing don't help remove all the makeup so what should we use before we cleanse? I usually use a dove bar of soap and wash my face and then cleanse and then moisturize
Yeah I second the above comment! Using a beauty balm or oil to remove makeup, rinse, and then follow with your normal face wash. This is a technique called double cleansing that allows you to remove makeup and any oil, dirt, dust, etc very effectively. The oil grabs your makeup and dirt to rinse it away better, so your face wash can benefit your skin more and clean it better.
I keep mine simple everyday. I just focus on hydration since I have pretty dry skin. I don’t ever skip my sunscreen ever since I was 12. Thank goodness, my mom actually made me put on sunscreen in front of her everyday until I did it myself. That’s a good thing too because I don’t have any sunspots and I don’t have any significant wrinkles. Just tiny ones, and I don’t mind those. I am getting older after all. St. Ives was what I knew. It took me all of 1 use and 5 minutes of research to realize my mistake. 😆😆
Thank you! I finally started my skincare routine! I have only a cleanser and a moisturizer for now and they are very cheap, but everyone’s gotta start somewhere!
I used to love their Green Tea cleanser when I was younger. I don't think they make it anymore but I really don't need anything more than a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil nowadays.
@@btaylerpackard2475 I think there's very little in it. Tea treatment works as an anti inflammatory and an antimicrobial so it clears my acne and really soothes my skin. I've been using it for a year straight and it's really cleared my breakouts especially from wearing a mask all day at work.
The problem with gaging/ear stretching is some people do it too fast or even in one go, that is extremely painfull and you're more likely to tear the lobe. You're also going to get them to be floppy and not hold shape. When people say they gage for years they mean it! They start out with a normal piercing and slowly over months or years they very slowly start to stretch it with every so slightly bigger gages. Slowly making their way to a bigger gage over years.
I bought some St. Ives recently and it has changed. They now use very, very, very fine crushed walnut shells and have scrubs of different levels. I bought a "harsher" on with charcoal that I use infrequently and one with rose petals that is milder that I use a few times per week. A lot of other scrubs used the plastic microbeads that are gradually being banned because they harm wildlife who think they are food and eat them. Better to use a more natural product. I felt like the retinol was making my skin turnover but not shed and the scrubs help.
It doesn't matter how fine the shells are. Walnut shells crush into irregular and jagged shapes on a microscopic level, so they're literally ripping tiny holes in your skin. The short term 'ooo soft skin so glowy' is just from scrubbing your skin's natural barrier off. Retinol gives more consistent results and will actually improve your skin on a microscopic level. You can also look for chemical exfoliants to get the benefits of a scrub without shredding your skin. (Just don't use a chemical peel and a retinoid or acne product on the same day, or you can sensitize your skin. I do one OTC chemical exfoliant per week and just normal skincare the other days).
So why are dermatologists against exfoliants that create micro tears but then provide microdermabrasion procedures? Isn’t it all creating micro tears and abrasions in the skin?
There are certain people who benefit from this procedure. They’re just saying it shouldn’t be used Willy Nilly amongst the population because if you don’t need it or don’t know how to maintain your skin while doing these things it can potentially ruin your skin instead of help. It’s also a lot of misinformation.
Microdermabrasion is a controlled scrub with a very refined scrub that won't damage the skin. Some of them even use superfine pearls or diamond dust. A face scrub from the store is basically gravel held together with gel for how much it will help your skin.
@@strawberrycherrybaby it’s all creating tears though. It’s all basically sandpapering the skin and causing trauma. If tearing skin is bad microdermabrasion is also bad.
Anyway you can do some info videos around breast reduction? Cuz I honestly can't find a lot about it i do however see a lot of stuff about implants but I'm thinking about getting it and you're just really good at giving out information on these things Thanks!
The problem some people have with stretched lobes tearing is typically due to rushing the stretching process (you should only stretch up one millimeter per month) and wearing heavy weighted plugs. Mine are 12mm (half an inch), so it's not presently a concern. By stretching up slowly and gradually, I have a perfect circular hole in my lobe instead uneven thickness or that "cat butt" puckered look. Patience when stretching is imperative.
Hello Dr Youn!!! I wanted to ask if you could make a video about injections to lose fat. My aunt is the night janitor at a place where they do those treatments and she brought me a pamphlet and I am interested. Thanks for making awesome content and keep up the good work.
Yeah, find out what exactly they inject. Because these procedures are more often than not scams. If you can't find out what they inject and/or it's only a cosmetic salon with no certified medical professionals working there, don't step a foot inside that place
My bestie is getting injections to lose fat. He has to inject every morning himself. He lost 20pounds so far. Started less than a month ago. It's doctor prescribed. Side effects is diarrhea and bloating so far. I do remember my mother had pills that worked similar, it binds the fat and it gets mostly pooped out or that's what I got told. It's a long time ago
Dr. Youn, you're so funny, the way you said you guys put catheters into your bladders while doing surgery...I believed it for a second. Lolzzz! Btw, your skin is so beautiful, more so than most WOMEN'S! It's just flawless and refined...I guess Youn Beauty really works or is it just that great, Asian skin...?
This doctor has integrity. I went to his office for a consult. I wanted a tummy tuck, lipo and breast implant replacement. Instead of trying to sell me all this, he made it a point to explain the risks and why all of these surgeries pose risks. I appreciated his honestly and the way he explained the potential complications there could be in my particular case. I am still trying to decide if all this is right for me. You know you have found a good surgeon when he doesn't try and sell you on the fantasy that you'll look perfect and instead is realistic.
Goid luck in your descision!
Maybe do one only
We're rooting for you ! Be super careful

For a more extreme example of the dose makes the poison, whenever I get tapped to teach a 1st year tox/biochem class, I'll start the relevant lecture by dissolving ~1mg of potassium cyanide in 1L of water, and then proceed to consume it over the course of the class.
would someone please explain this to the government of California?
@@SirberusKhaos In a way, they are doing so.
Their laws make use f the IARC classifications in terms of labelling chemicals, and the IARC only assesses hazards, not risks.
...California just neglects to mention this detail, and that exposure data has nothing to do with their warning labels.

I would advise to use fake large earrings like these www.etsy.com/market/fake_stretched_ear
So you can always change your mind when you get bored and avoid the pain and possible complications of the real thing.
After my mom had my sister and I, she was so sad her breast had pretty much fully deflated - my dad worked a lot of overtime and weekends for YEARS, then combined a gift with valentine, birthday, anniversary and xmas cards, that was money to get some (normal sized) implants, my mother cried from happiness.
This guy is just absolutely awesome!
He is! A friend shared a video of Dr Youn to me and I subscribed immediately. I don’t have any cosmetic surgery done but this dr is entertaining. He’s so nice too. Too bad all doctors aren’t like him.
With the tiktok about scrub in for emergencies, I actually can say that sometimes skipping during dire situations may occur in the veterinary field too. I thankfully only witnessed it once, and even then I was told that scrubbing in is preferred no matter what.
Lol. You had me there with the catheter. I was thinking 25 years in the OR and I never saw anyone cath themselves. Lol.
Just love how positive you are when others give advice
YOU GOT ME WITH THAT CATHETER BIT 👌
Me too :,D
He is genuinely kind and respectful...
Can you please do a Pregnancy safe skin care routine or skin care products? ❤
You just know this man is honest and kind with all his clients
I don’t use sunscreen, I just avoid the sun period! I have a sun allergy anyways so can’t be out in the sun anyways.
Using sunscreen may help with your sun allergies
Idk if I have an official sun allergy myself but sunscreen doesn’t help me.
@@hislivelystone really? Do you get sweaty and feel prickly heat and break out in hives or a rash?
@@hislivelystone the prickly heat and hives happen to me sometimes
I have had hives from sun infrequently but I just feel poisoned overall with too much heat/sun. I don’t know how else to describe it. I do get hives pretty consistently with cold 😑 I didn’t think an allergy to cold was a thing, just thought I was weird for a while there lol But my kids pediatrician was like oh yeah my parents are allergic to cold too.
Dr Youn I wish so much I could speak with you! My life has been so crazy and now I’m 63, married and settled and love my life! But there’s sure some things that would improve the quality of life for me and you are who I want to help me!
Totally random question but would you be willing to do a video and show us any work you've had done and explain each procedure? I honestly don't think you've had alot done other than botox (because you've showed it before) but I am definetly curious and interested to know!😊 Love your channel and your positivity! Thanks for being awesome!
Dr. Youn, I absolutely adore you!
Have to say after watching his skincare video I threw all my stuff out, got the Cetaphil, acru face scrub, vitamin c serum and retinol serum. Following his advice of wash, c serum in am, wash retinol serum in pm and scrub 2 to 3 times per week. Im 60 and not very wrinkled but pigmentation problems. I love the feel of my skin and its getting prettier everyday!! Try it if you haven't! I got all of it plus sn extra tube of acru for less then 80.00 and im sure its at least 3 months worth! Am using the derma roller with the retinol tomorrow and it will be amazing no doubt!
Watching this wishing I had a surgeon like Dr Youn. I've waited a year for a surgery date, after a bad fall, only for the surgeon to turn around less than a month before surgery and tell me he'd pushed it back by nearly another two months so he could go on holiday. He knows I can't work (or breathe properly) until I've had the surgery. I'm gutted. Feeling like we need more Dr Youns around!
me watching this while eating a charred hot dog: 👁👄👁
charred brats are life but now... i see I may have to cut back XD
Thank you for recognizing the awesome men out there who support their wives! Thanks for calling out the losers too!
Dr. Youn, I want to see you actually make those faces for a real consult, lol!! All kidding aside, do you actually say those things to husbands/boyfriends that are like that? I am sure you can't, but I feel like some of them need that blunt of a response and that would be awesome if you really did or could! Keep being awesome!
I would look at the guy and ask "I'm sorry, is your name sally?"
Not sure if I misunderstood your sentiment but he has a wife
@@MikuHatsune12 this comment is likely referring to his comments about men who act like their partners aren't people when their partner (likely the partner is a woman) undergo some sort of procedure. The "what about me and what I want" attitude is disgusting and he's calling these men out on their poor behavior.
He said in another video that it makes him really angry when husband's or boyfriends do that. It is the patients body and their choice alone.
I used to use st. Ives scrub. When to the dermatologist because of a mole and I asked what I could use for my dark spots(when in Rome) he asked me what my routine was and I told him I use St. Ives and moisturizer and sun lotion in the morning. If looks could kill! Needless to say, I don’t use it anymore. My routine now is great I have little to no acne (three pimples really) and I’m glowing. Dermatologists and esthetician’s are life changers. Also, shoutout to the ordinary for fixing my skin!
What do we do if we wear makeup?
I hear cleansing don't help remove all the makeup so what should we use before we cleanse? I usually use a dove bar of soap and wash my face and then cleanse and then moisturize
Use a makeup balm! You scoop a little, rub it into your face then rinse it off, then wash n do the rest
Amazing doctor, and such a glowing, baby skin
I keep mine simple everyday. I just focus on hydration since I have pretty dry skin. I don’t ever skip my sunscreen ever since I was 12. Thank goodness, my mom actually made me put on sunscreen in front of her everyday until I did it myself. That’s a good thing too because I don’t have any sunspots and I don’t have any significant wrinkles. Just tiny ones, and I don’t mind those. I am getting older after all. (Cleansing, AHA/BHA/PHA toner, moisturizer with niacinamide, and sunscreen in the morning. I would put on vitamin C serum in the morning too, but followed immediately by a sunscreen for brightness). I haven’t had as severe as when I was in my teens and early 20’s.
you consider that simple? All i do is use a face wash and nivea and not even daily but like once or twice a weak.. I know I'm gonna regret it, but with depression, adhd and no discipline, thats all i can manage..
I'm doomed, arent I?
Dr. Youn!! You understand men and their needs of course and also stand up for women with compassion and a great sense of humor towards men!! I love your sense of u humor!! I don’t often comment but live watching your videos. 🥰🌹
Dr Youn's disgusted face is priceless!
Dr Youn is so wholesome!
4:37 - I have a tube of St. Ives Scrub in my declutter drawer (that no one else wants either) because I bought it when I was starting on my skincare journey last year and - literally - the last time I did "skincare"... St. Ives was what I knew. It took me all of 1 use and 5 minutes of research to realize my mistake. 😆😆
If you shave your legs, scrub them with st ives sometimes then give them a good shave in the bath. They end up so smooth
Use it as an exfoliate on your legs for shaving
Or use it as a foot scrub!
just use it in your feet.no big deal if it's abrasive because it can help get rid of calloused
Thank you! I finally started my skincare routine! I have only a cleanser and a moisturizer for now and they are very cheap, but everyone’s gotta start somewhere!
I love the Saint Ives acne cleanser with tea tree oil though. Its works amazing on my sensitive skin 💚
I used to love their Green Tea cleanser when I was younger. I don't think they make it anymore but I really don't need anything more than a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil nowadays.
Tea treat oil can be dangerous to the skin, I'm surprised to works for you if you have sensitive skin. That stuff irritates the hell out of my face
@@btaylerpackard2475 I think there's very little in it. Tea treatment works as an anti inflammatory and an antimicrobial so it clears my acne and really soothes my skin. I've been using it for a year straight and it's really cleared my breakouts especially from wearing a mask all day at work.
Dr Youn.... always championing for the ladies 🥰
The excitement on his face when he see's a breast implant 😂
Love his little videos at the end! He’s so funny and cute!
God bless yall and ima head out
i like surgeon which is totally transparent.he deserve way more subscribers
Uh No. For example, it's very different if you get cut open by a surgeon's scalpel, verses if you get cut open by a bear.
Please consider the details.
@@icesilverwind That’s not remotely the same thing. Please consider the details.
I love your silver highlights, Dr. Youn.

Anyway you can do some info videos around breast reduction? Cuz I honestly can't find a lot about it i do however see a lot of stuff about implants but I'm thinking about getting it and you're just really good at giving out information on these things
Thanks!

@babytig3r~ what do they inject?
You need to pay for a consult.
@@KB-ct7th it’s says on the paper that it’s hormone peptide therapy. It says Exenatide.
