- Without doubt this is my most anticipated game of all time. Final Fantasy 7 Remake was the catalyst that created this entire channel over 8 years ago!! To be here now with the MEATY section of the FF7 story that is Rebirth. I've done theory after theory, trailer reaction vids for days, speculated on news and held my breath for this game long enough. Its time to dive in and see if Rebirth truly lives up to its early metacritic reviews. This could be the ending stream of all streams for the channel. Potentially. I can't wait to get in and have you guys along for the ride! I'm going to be SLOOOW burn playing this playthrough and enjoying Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth while I'm mid travels. Starting here in Bali and probably get to the ending in Australia. Twins getting married so there may be some chop in the playthrough consistency. May be a tech issue or two lmao. FFV is the first game Gilgamesh appears in along with Big Bridge (what is NOW.. HIS theme is actually The Battle on Big Bridge), in that game he declares the party his eternal rival, and has pretty much always referenced them.
He first gains Excalipoor in a castle in FFV and is first banished to the interdimentional rift, which is also first referenced here as well I believe.
Having been around here for 8 years (mainly silently), I was tempted to comment "Pssst, remove Temple of the Ancients from title Pez. You have at least 20-30 hours left. :D" Then you said you are gonna save some quests for hard mode. There is a lot of cooking to do after. My only advice is to ensure you have the capability to review your footage immediately after credits for on-stream analysis and re-watch. (e.g. Max had multiple 4-7hr cooking sessions, even including AC, EC, CC stuff)
List of things pez still doesn't understand after 100 hours of rebirth and two entire playthroughs of remake:
- never use "focused" abilities on enemies except when they're pressured, especially not when they're staggered...
- how to combo with tifa's unbridled strength on a staggered enemy
- you don't lose limit break levels when you use ascension, so you don't need to use cross slash to "save" ascension, you keep limit levels permanently
- when you issue your teammates commands and then switch INTO that character, the command you issued will get cancelled
the list goes on far longer but those were the main offenders this stream, jesus christ he blames the game so much when he's the one who sucks at it xD
your wrong on the first 2 and correct on last 2. Yep I thought limit levels expired on use. I KNOW focused abilities are only effective for pressure. I've used them at times out of that just for quick movement. For example of both Cloud and Barrett. Their focused moves are the quickest to blast off and have little to no wind up or action frames. That makes it useful at times.
I'm using Tifas unbridled combos fine lol. Along with her true strike know. I'm racking up that 300%+ stagger damage bonus. Yes admittedly I only really dunked the full use of this during the tempering trials. But I 'know' how it works.
I aint blaming game for nothing. Raging here or there at silly shit is just for the jokes. Calm your jets lad. We don't really need elitism and big heads around these parts
@@FinalFantasyPeasantinstead of using focused strike/shot for quick abilities, which do almost no damage, you can do triple strike for cloud and maximum fury (1 atb) on barret and you'll actually do damage instead, and they take roughly the same amount of time. That's all i'm saying, it just literally makes 0 sense to use focused abilities outside of pressure because they don't do any damage at all.
As for tifa, all you need to do is quickly spam her triangle moves and then hit two true strikes so your party can unload, but instead you weirdly mix in divekicks and basic attacks and by the time you're done with the "combo" the stagger is already over, if you had that combo down then you would've had far less trouble on odin/alex. I hope you know how they work now because it really seemed like you didn't during the tempering trials at least xD
Don't worry mate i love your content and have for 5 years, but your ego has gotten a bit too large over the years and it's not fun content watching somebody think he's king shit while blaming game mechanics he doesn't understand
