  • An excerpt from a quarter peal on this little Norfolk six, filmed 12th December 2016. The bells are a sweet little six, cast and hung in a new frame by Taylors in 1965 to replace an older ring; the tenor was found to be cracked, and replaced the following year. The way into the ringing room is different to the normal spiral staircase - through a creche area and down a short, narrow and somewhat steep corridor (captured at 0:36)!
    Tenor 4-1-2 in D♭

I would be nervous about touching bells this light, unless I was on the tenor.

Can someone tell me what times on the weekend the bells are rung?

Post war but at least not as bland as some post war towers.

A lot better than the Whitechapel post-war light rings

They sound more D than Db.

They're more Db to me but I suspect they're relatively borderline. 🙂
