@James Sully payed £130 for mine. Not sure about them being un sturdy though... Mine are swede... And in excellent condition more comfort and support than 90's but I love 90's too
I've had mine for over 20yrs I'm 38 and I'll agree they were one of if the most good-looking and comfortable shoe I've worn and granted it's been in the shed for about 15yrs and does not look as good and the sole is falling apart but if I glued the base back to the air sack and cleaned them to the power of 10, honestly I could maybe wear them again.
I bought myself the 2015 version at Mall of America and got the last one in my size! I love them! Super comfortable after a little bit of breaking in and they are great materials! Here's to hoping they finish out this OG pack with the 97!
Thanks for the video. This is my favorite shoe of all time and I bought them in 95 only to put 200 treadmill miles on them. Then I bought the history of air version which I wear around once a month. They’re still holding up. Love the entire construction of this model and colors. If they ever release another OG, I’ll need to get them and wear em.
always wondered why nike was so scared to replicate og's properly. if you're going to remake them and make a big deal about how "similar" they are. just make the same damn shoe. there is no logic in the whole "this version is the closest to the original yet !! but were using completely different shades of color" thing. if the people who make fakes can replicate the shoes properly, so can nike. if it IS just a lack of effort on their part that is just insulting.
+iPooDaily It won't be a lack of effort, it's likelier to be a change in manufacturing processes (materials used, glues/chemicals used, machines used etc.)
EastStandManc well not making the changes to replicate properly WOULD be a lack of effort, silly. like i said, if the people who make fakes can do it properly, you don't think nike can ? pshhhh
+iPooDaily Lol, 'silly'? You really have no idea, do you? Here's just ONE example: The 'Air' in 'Air Max' used to be SF6 (sulphur hexafluoride) but being the extremely nasty greenhouse gas that it is, Nike replaced it with nitrogen. That's just the Air unit, think about the rest of the shoe ... Oh and somehow I doubt the fakers give a shit about legislation, so you can stop using that card.
EastStandManc what the hell does that have to do with appearance ? are there color shades banned because they're too bright ? your argument is invalid, sorry.
Glad I came across this video. I have been telling people for a few years now that the air max 95 we get today have smaller air bubbles than what we got back in the day but nobody believes me. And also the air bubbles today seem to have a lot less air inside them I mean you can literally see it and feel it the air bubbles in nikes today actually look and feel like they are already popped fresh out the box.
Those big air bubbles look so kickass, i hope Nike reintroduce them for the 2025 release, also the left 95 shoe looks better and closer to new as it's been shrink wrapped, those lace loops on the right shoe have turned golden yellow with age
The stitching and fit on the original 95s are on a whole different level. The new ones look like extra glue and bad cuts in comparison. Nice comparison 👍✌
The angels of the lines and swoosh, the way the sole colour blend's with the material & the materials used gives the originals a more aggressive, shaped, sleeker look & feel, leaving the newer shoes looking like fakes, I still have my 2003 pair in good condition, no crumble, didn't wear them much having had the original's then buying the copy's & expecting the same quality, they were a big let down nike!
These are the best tennis shoes ever. I purchased some in 2010! I wore them damn near everyday, for three year to workout in. This was on concrete. It took them 6 years to get a hole in the sole of the left shoe. Air max 95 will always be my favorite tennis.
The Max 95 aren't a tennis shoe mate, they are one of the best vintage sneaker shoes in Nike's vault of retro silhouettes. An ULTIMATE classic that has nothing to do with the sport of tennis.
Hey feel the back air it's really soft because it's only 5 psi then feel the side that's 25 psi it's much harder the air tuned and true to the og model!!!!
These are classics. There are one or two original color patterns that were so comfortable and stylish. Definitely the originals were designed for the biomechanics or movement. Most of the retreads I have purchased over last 3 years don't hold up. I am a PE teacher so they get plenty of action on basketball courts/turf/grass. The newer ones break down much quicker. I buy them anyway. I true testament of a classic! Nice vid!
Most Of The 96s And TNs Are Chav And Roadman Shoes But I Love The 95s Especially The OG Colourway And The Colourway In Blue & Orange My Favourite Nike Air Max Is Nike Air Max 97 & My Second Favourite Is Air Max 98 But My Favourite Shoes Are Converse, Adidas Samba, Air Max 97, Air Max 98, Vapormax, Vapormax 97, Vapormax Plus, Air Prestos And Air Max 95 Ultra SE And Ultra Jacquard And So Much More
I believe I have an original pair of limited edition air max 95 .. triple black and all leather. Men’s size 11 I think. Very good condition. Wondering what they are worth? Thanks in advance
I work air Nike Air MI in beaverton. Tuned air is still in all the air soles it was originally in tho this part (95) is made in St Louis. I think the 97 was the last
I had the original. But what I do not understand is that the Nike symbol on my shoes was not sewn on but was made of a transparent plastic that was sewn into the fabric. So I have my doubts whether this is really the original
Most shoes crumble with age unless you store them correctly, most people just pray and hope for there shoes to stop aging but if you really want your shoes to stay in tact it's important that you take a huge shit in them and throw them in the trash
God damn it, I had these back in the day in a size 6 six or 7 as a kid, then I bought another pair around 2003, eaven then I knew something was wrong with the 2003 pair they wur just a far less aesthetically pleasing in every way and even the feel, comfort & performance of the shoe was noticeably worse. This just confirmed what I always knew, its the comparison I didn't get the chance to do, the newer model just looks cheap & wrong next to the classic which is a masterpiece, BRING THEM BACK TO LIFE NIKE!
A nice video yet I think you mixed up Tuned Air and the Air Max2 ideas! Another difference you completely forgot about was the 25PSI-sign on the lateral airpods and the 5PSI-sign on the heal pod on the original vintage ones! Best Airmax ever.
Better than Jordans. Best shoe of all time. I wear nothing else.
++++++++
What about tns
@@kingsleysmith1104 were about to say... After the TNs 😂
@James Sully payed £130 for mine. Not sure about them being un sturdy though... Mine are swede... And in excellent condition more comfort and support than 90's but I love 90's too
2 demons attached No need to go so deep
air max 95 is just plain beast. the 90's comes in at 2nd
I agree

Memories are kicking in. Can´t say how many times i asked my mother to buy me those nikes. I feel old.
Glad you did a review & comparison!

They released today my

I have to say, my all time favourite shoe silhouettes are the air max 95s are the Jordan 5s. Love them!

These are one of my fav models
This is best shoe of all time period and best colour way
nice comparison. great job.

Too much air made them harder underfoot, so they balance the pressure
Those big air bubbles look so kickass, i hope Nike reintroduce them for the 2025 release, also the left 95 shoe looks better and closer to new as it's been shrink wrapped, those lace loops on the right shoe have turned golden yellow with age
After 2003, the bubble got noticeably smaller. They've been released 10 times since 95.
Mainly because of new manufacturing methods + different "air" used in the newer ones
i'd have said 2005
great video, love your enthusiasm don't listen to haters bro
I think he knows that
nobody asked you haha Daniel Gonsalez
you did now
+Daniel Gonsalez stop

Hey John do you think the neon 95s will drop in 2018 in the us?
The stitching and fit on the original 95s are on a whole different level. The new ones look like extra glue and bad cuts in comparison. Nice comparison 👍✌
They don't make them like they used to, they just charge more 😝

one thing I distinctly remembered on the originals was the big fat heel air unit. wow. but I doubt these retros are like those.
The suede on the OG pair looks thicker

Air bubble is wider on the OGs too 🔥

That were my shoes when I was a kid back in the 90's.. ^^
I have pair from 2012 and the midsole is also crumbled.
I work air Nike Air MI in beaverton. Tuned air is still in all the air soles it was originally in tho this part (95) is made in St Louis. I think the 97 was the last
i never knew trainers just just crumbled over time on their own, even if you've never worn them ?
I have a fully boxed fresh pair Air Max 2006 which could still be worn if wanted size 9.5 though
Paul Robinson still for sale? Lol? And hm?
Jordan Geller what was the exact release date? Do you know?
I had the original. But what I do not understand is that the Nike symbol on my shoes was not sewn on but was made of a transparent plastic that was sewn into the fabric. So I have my doubts whether this is really the original
Aluhhh1881 They might not be the original 95's. Theyve been released 10x since then. 97,98,02,03,etc...
I was cringing the entire way man. So delicate.
Actual Fact: In 1995 80% of crime scenes in the UK had the foot print of these, Because only criminals could afford them.
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽lovely
I am sorry, but the air is tuned! Just test it yourself by pressing them, or put a pressure pump in them with a needle.
You're my new favorite youtuber.
I love them
Are they robust and comfortable, I wanna get a pair
I love how fat the air bubbles were back in the day. Other than that, they're the same.
The greatest sneaker of all time... and I’m the biggest Jordan person.. but this shoe is just the greatest
Idk if I should wear them with tracksuit

riose325 yes, sadly.
riose325 Even faster than normal.

Does anybody knows how to clean mesh on the airmax 90 , i cleaned and it turned yellow

Nike: Done.

Pop all the time
Most of the nike shoes has a midsole problem and it will not long last except for the Foams penny, 😂
Is the 2015 more neon than the 2020 which looks yellow ?
