A Tiger's body seems to look bigger because it is looser, fatter, and the body hair is thicker, which is very suitable for the agility and elasticity typical of Cats in general.
In contrast to the Lion's body, which is firmer, denser, and the body hair is thinner (except for the mane of Male Lions). Even though they are as agile and elastic as Tigers, Lions can fight longer and more intensely due to their better stamina than Tigers.
Lions are stronger than tigers because of their lifestyles. But how would if tigers used to live in the savanna? Would they have prides? Run fast for bigger preys? Would they fight each other like lions? The life makes you strong. The tiger lives alone and is a panik cat. The lion must to be brave, otherwise does not work. Savanna is extrem dagerous than jungles.

Tiger really appear larger bc of their loose skin but in fact its logic that they don't weight much more than a lion. Nowadays the southwest African lion also known as the kngorongoro lions are the largest of the big cats and this video proves it.

And if they were in a better situation in their ecosystems, the difference would be more. They are genetically bigger, stronger and more physically capable, as simple as that. What they don't realize is the mane, the head, the body size and the color of the lion makes everything looks flat in pics and vids, when they are actually very muscular cat with big arms. Just look at the size of them arms in real life they are gigantic.
That's actually the partner of aslan at 1:32. Not aslan himself. He weighs around 190 or 180. But yes even when you look at aslan they would say he's nothing special from a camera until he's weighed.

Because they used unreliable weights however, there are newer studies like the one made by Dr Yamaguchi from Oxford University study that says that idea of tigers being the biggest is not correct and actually lions and tigers are about the same size

Fair comparison between an average tiger and very large lion. 203 kg isn't small but slightly above average. Aslan was already much bigger than Ulysses when comparing same age. At 11 Aslan was between 240-253.
