President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and his common-law wife, Ms. Cielito Avanceña, received President Joko Widodo and First Lady Madam Irania Widodo of Indonesia as they arrived in the Davao International Airport.
The Indonesian President set foot in the Philippines on April 28, 2017 for a state visit and attendance to the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Leaders’ Summit. After his participation in the regional bloc meeting, he proceeded to Davao City for the launching of the Davao-General Santos-Bitung Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) Shipping Service.
The two leaders would be leading the launching ceremony of the trade route, a project under the ASEAN Vision 2025. The route would strengthen trade relations among the key cities in the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA).

Actually in Indonesian Language the Philippines name is translated as "Filipina", but instead of saying Filipina our ppl mostly called your country as Filipin or Philipin the same way american pronounced "PHILIPPINE" (without s). So they got confused whenever they spelled your country's name, they thought that they spelled it correctly bcs they followed how american pronounced "PHILIPPINE", and they don't know that PHILIPPINE is one of your country's demonym besides Filipino/a and Pinoy/a. Some Indonesians also called your country's name as Philipina, pilipina, or even philipino.
And the 2nd reason is English isn't our official language, english is taught at schools but it's still considered as a foreign language not a second language.
