Mr Jokowi is one of the visionary and best presidents in Indonesia. Not only has he advanced the country with massive infrastructure development but also the people's social safety net has been initiated by him not only regarding health insurance but also education. This program is only about past 10 years into its leadership, and clearly the welfare results will be visible, not now, but if it is sustainable, it can be felt in the next 2-3 decades. Also, the people's sense of optimism was built by his speeches, which brought new hope that this country is a great country and that if all elements of the nation work together to advance the country, in 2045 this country will become a developed country. The hopes voiced by Mr President Jokowi are very influential among the younger generation. Because of that, Mr. Jokowi in his final year in office still received an approval rating and performance satisfaction from the Indonesian people was still around 80%. Meanwhile, his influence on the Presidential Election this time does not automatically mean that the percentage of his approval rating will be distributed entirely to the pair he favors, but rather the people are still divided by people/characters who are different from themselves. But suppose the constitution allows Mr. Jokowi's participation in the presidential election this time will certainly have his approval rating figures reflected in his electoral level, and has the potential to win higher than the current presidential candidates.

Same omg, for me personally it normally took about 3 hours, sometimes it can take about 7 or so hours because of traffic (truck accidents, flood, poor road conditions) when using the lintas Sumatra/regular road. But now it takes only 1 and a half hours at most because of the Sumatran toll road! This is the first time where a president felt an impact on me personally :')

Before 2014, traveling between cities, especially on different islands was a nightmare. Right now, everyone can easily travel to almost any city on the map.
The infrastructure growth is not based on principles of justice and welfare. The apparent success of many infrastructure projects is merely a facade. In reality, these projects have been undertaken at the cost of accumulating substantial debts through unreasonable agreements with China. The State Budget (APBN) cannot sustain many of these large projects. Consequently, to offset the deficits in the APBN, the government has incurred significant debts, ultimately to be repaid by taxpayers. Instead of pursuing numerous seemingly useless infrastructure projects, the government should prioritize investments in health and education infrastructure.

Indonesia is not ruled by a king, and will never surrender it's democratic system. The infrastructure projects are in Indonesia which other countries can't take it away. When the world bank lend money to developing countries to support their own currencies. For me personally as a Chinese-Indonesian, here colloquially called "Chindo", the only thing I (and probably significant portion of Chindos as well) wish for the next president is how they could guarantee the safety for us Chinese-Indonesians, considering Chindos are the first and prime target of masses everytime there's an upheaval. This election date would be held close to Lunar New Year, and such time is a fertime time for sinophobic violence to sprout out of control. We only want to choose which one of three candidates who will bring least hostility to Chinese-Indonesians. I hope the next Indonesian president will focus more on uplifting the lives of the poor, improve their living conditions in slum areas by building them decent within city housings, and development must not only in Java. The next president must help the indigenous people of Indonesia for they are the most forgotten, he must give importance also to preserving nature by rehabilitating rivers and seas and lakes, building sewerage systems, water pipes to every community instead of underground source of water. The new president must stop any landfills but rather build recycling facilities. Indonesia is lagging behind as compare to it's neighbors regarding these things

Meanwhile, his influence on the Presidential Election this time does not automatically mean that the percentage of his approval rating will be distributed entirely to the pair he favors, but rather the people are still divided by people/characters who are different from themselves. But suppose the constitution allows Mr. Jokowi's participation in the presidential election this time will certainly have his approval rating figures reflected in his electoral level, and has the potential to win higher than the current presidential candidates.

bcoz of Jokowi i can travelled to my hometown by toll roads (Sumatran toll road) . usually it took me 4 days but now just only 2 days
Same omg, for me personally it normally took about 3 hours, sometimes it can take about 7 or so hours because of traffic (truck accidents, flood, poor road conditions) when using the lintas Sumatra/regular road. But now it takes only 1 and a half hours at most because of the Sumatran toll road!

Instead of pursuing numerous seemingly useless infrastructure projects, the government should prioritize investments in health and education infrastructure.

Jokowi indeed has a good start by promoting infrastructure development, but in the end people see the increasing of corruption practices while he and the parlimentary weaken the KPK (anti corruption body), and now he himself doing a nepotism by changing the presidential candidate rules in favour of his son.
