i am glad ur bum feels -and looks better! i just got the lightstim and i am so excited for the results. i usually prefer devices that use one technology because they are usually more professional and targetted

I'm in pain just looking at that bruise 🤕 I own a UFO and tbh I didn't primarily buy it for the LED feature but it's a nice addition and you can customize your routine and use it much longer than the programmed time 😊

Alma Wilson Haha it was very sore for a long time!! That’s one of my fave things about the UFO is being able to control it on the app, I often set it to the cryotherapy setting when my face feels like it’s on fire from my rosacea and it’s soooo relieving!

Thanks for an informative video. I really like the Trophy skin lamp. One question though; is it safe to use without goggles? That would be my only concern. It looks so relaxing to do it without them though.

Hi Joanna, if acne is the main concern, should I look at the lightstim with the blue light, or do the red and amber lights target acne as well?

Debbie Taylor Hi! The red LED will still target the inflammation in the skin and assist with speeding up healing time, so I often suggest red LED devices are a great all rounder option, however it really is personal preference, the blue light targets the p acnes bacteria and if you’re looking at the Lightstim that also has other wavelengths too. Reading the reviews on site might make your decision easier? X

Blue light is the light that can help with active acne, as it kills bacteria. I've got a wand from Amazon that does red blue and green/yellow. Helps, but for active acne, I don't use it as often since it rubs on the skin and you need serum for it to glide. But yes, LED can help kill bacteria of acne when in blue light. When I had an LED mask from Dennis Gross for a while, the blue light was more purple, so look for something with a purple blue. Search the dermatologists on youtube, they can recommend the best at home ones you can get!

    Can led help cellulite also?

Emz Kat I don’t believe there’s any conclusive evidence to suggest LED can improve the appearance of cellulite x

I believe there's actually nothing at home that can truly improve cellulite by leaps and bounds. I think the new "freezing skin treatment" is meant for cellulite and loose skin, but yeah, a dermatologist would be able to answer this better than myself. I'm pretty sure there isn't much you can do (believe me, I've tried it all, and I remember Dr. Dray and cassandra Bankson here on YT, both are pros working in the field, and they've both said that with things like cellulite and stretch marks, there isn't much you can do at home. There is no exercise that can get rid of it, as magazines would have you believe. Google it! You'll see some options that can at least help diminish it until seeing a doc for some treatment.

I think a bruise would go away on its own after 2 weeks so I don’t think that’s proof the device got rid of it.

I had a very similar bruise in around the same place from a fall and it took over a month to fully heal! Ive never used this kind of treatment but I wish I had of! I couldn’t sit for 2 weeks haha

I def dont think it woukd be gone within 2 weeks otherwice. On me, something like that would easily stay 1 month - 2 months

Can it help with acne pigmentation. Those stubborn brown marks?

Hay Pat Hi! Dr Daniel Barolet’s paper did suggest their was some evidence to support the use of LED in the treatment of PIHP, however I would always recommend seeing a dermal clinician or dermatologist for advice!

I believe red and green or yellow led can help with pigmentation. I have an LED wand and I've heard from the dermatologists here on youtube that the at home devices aren't that strong if you don't need sunglasses. But honestly, I feel like my small LED wand from Amazon helps just because it vibrates, it heats up, it has a Microcurrent mode, so I feel with the LED on top, it really is nice as a treatment twice a week or so. It's not that expensive either! Mine was cheap for black friday, around $30. But definitely can find a good one for under $50.
