This is probably one of the best breakdowns on video creation, shows everything from start to finish in simple and clear terms 🔥 We need a gear breakdown next!
I NEVER comment on youtube but this video helped me in ways that many courses didn't. LOVE IT. As a begginer filmmaker I thank you! Keep doing more of these please haha (love from Brazil)
Amazing break down! So helpful, insightful and inspirational! Thank you so much- would love to see more and 100% pay for these kind of breakdowns on Patreon or similar!
Jay amazing video from start to finish! Thankyou for showing your process from the initial brainstorming stage right through to the final edit. Very informative, clear, concise and to the point. I Really like how you confessed about how you couldn’t remember which shots of the talent you did and didn’t get with the headphones in and also how you wish you shot the bike scene in 120fps. I think you nailed the brief flawlessly and that match cut was very clever. Loved these type of videos and I learned so much! Look forward to more, Max 🔥🔥🔥
Hey dude, great video. Especially loved the focus on the sfx. Been working as a videographer in a company for 3 years now and thinking about starting on my own. Would be really interesting to see a breakdown budget and timewise and how you pitch at clients, do you have feedback rounds included in your budget etc, do you charge half days/full days or hourly? Stuff like that might seem boring in the beginning but is crucial for anyone looking to go freelance! :) Cheers
hey bro, nice work you are doing . i am wondering if you could make a video on how you plan you shots for example on what software you do it and the thought process ? ( excel or etc) it will be really helpful. thanks. doing multiple comments to get your attention!
Good one man. Been using Milanote for 3 years now, based on my experience, for pre moodboard of frames is good but rather than just the selected frames, I would recommend making GIF of some specific shots from your inspo, then put it into a shared deck (google slide would do just fine for gif) so your director and dp can remind themself of the key shots and how to do it that might be overlooked.
This just popped up in my algo! Such a clean and concise breakdown Jay, love your work mate!
