I don't see a reason why it wouldn't. Had pretty good pressure. I used the garden hose adapter, the larger fittings/hoses would give you better flow. If I was a betting man I'd bet that it could handle it no problem.
You did buy the wrong pump if you bought a utility pump. They are for clean water only with no solids. That's for swimming pools. You needed a sump pump.
I realized that later. It did surprisingly well considering. I was in a rush to get the job done and this was the best I could find without having to order.

That's not what this pump is built for. This it to move a large amount of water quickly. Different application.
