I’ve been up there a couple of times in the 80s and 90s. It’s a long steep mountain to climb. I went into the Bonanza mine entrance but couldn’t go far because no flashlight. I still have about 2 dozen copper pebbles and a small railroad spike.
Thank you. In next week's episode, I'll share my winter fat bike ride to Kennecott. However, I did not ride my bike to the Bonanza mine, which I'll wait for summer to hike.
