visited Hypercraft when I was out in Utah last year (technically they're down in Provo). while many at this point will likely be familiar with the Sierra Buggy Leah Block drove up Pikes Peak and the sweet Toyota 86 conversion by Canada's Scalar, they also collaborated with local celebrity builder Dave Kindig (ref: Motortrend/Bitchin' Rides TV show fame) electrifying one of his custom Hot Rods...
it debuted back at the March 2023 SLC edition of the Autorama car show. also ref: (while not EV) Kindig just won the top Ridler Award at this year's Detroit Autorama with another version of one these same custom Hot Rods, so it's a very versatile chassis.

EV conversions is the new hot rodding and it should take far fewer tools and skill than trying to work on ICE cars. I would love to see a Chevy SSR pickup converted to EV. The first two years were underpowered anyway so nothing to lose. The SEMA shows of the future are going to blow your mind and overtake automakers in innovation much like PC parts at one point were better than anything you could buy from IBM or HP.
