Southern's Brighton Service are operated via Class 377 alongside 387 in the form of Gatwick Express services via Gatwick Airport. Although, there are rumors that Greater Anglia's previous Class 379 may begin operation on either Great Northern or Southern to help cover up some of the withdrawn Class 365 (GN) or the Class 455 (Southern). Southeastern's new Class 707 City Beam trains are the former 707s from SWR. These will further replace the current 465s/466s in the near future, sadly :I Also, new 701s will aim to replace the 707s that had been shifted over to Southeastern. Although, there have been no updates regarding the new Class 701 units. So, it looks like 455s and a few 707s will hopefully still remain a little longer, from the looks of it :)
