  • The Mysterious death of Alfred Lowenstein is an unsolved mystery with numerous potential suspects. The 3rd richest man in the world supposedly vanished from a small private plane at 4,000 ft when no one was looking.
    They say fact is often stranger than fiction but this true story wouldn't be out of place in an Agatha Christie novel...

    He also had an enemy in Albert Dreyfus who was a Swiss businessman. Plus the pilot was paid a large sum of money and lived well after so it makes one wonder…

    I have seen people with pots of money be miserable, but hang on for dear life. Somehow, they just can't let go of the money. I'm guessing Lowenstein was pushed.

    I think the idiot opened the wrong door. Nothing more. We didn't have the kind of aircraft doors back then as we do now.
