What do you guys think about the Toro Grandstand MultiForce? Have you guys ran this unit before? I am curious to see how the snow attachments work on the unit, so stay tuned for that (and our 100 hour review which is sure to follow!).
We have two 60" and they work great in the snow. Helps to use different tires and have someone a little heavier on it. We turn the hydro controls flat when we are cutting so they don't get in the way. Also if you look through the front at the gas tank it's easier to see for some reason
You’re a good man Brian keep hustling keep cutting the grass and making that cash I’ve asked a few people I Will try to demo one next year when I’m ready going to get a 6 x 10 trailer and I’m looking at the V ride 2 36 inch buying all the green touch Weedwhacker racks Gas can racks etc. over the winter to get started in the fall you and Rob both do a terrific job you should both be very proud of yourself👍☝️
Find some used low hour stuff this winter. A Scag 48 stander and the new 30 inch push would be cool combo. Or Wright 52 stander B and 36 stander B. I used a 36 inch for too long. I wasted lots of time going around string trimming the edge of beds since the deck did not hang out over the edge.
@@johncuervo3019 my personal grand stand has been great it only has 370hrs on it no trouble. My work grand stand has 1709. On it the difference is the work one has fule injection the personal doesn't both machines are at least 3 years old. I would recommend the non fule injection if you want to do any repairs in house. I will send the injection machine to the dealer when it needs repair. Hope this helps.
Toro is looking good, have to see one and try it out. Yes I want to try all of them before I buy one Yes that’s me try them all out cause there’s so many. So thanks for showing telling you did a great job have a good nice day and well see ya next time see ya bye.
I always hit the like button before I even watch the videos because Brian always has great content for us. I don’t own a stander yet, but in my area we have exmark, toro, and Ferris. Seems like the multi force is a solid contender for my business
I 110% agree about the deck lifting and lowering. I use to run a crew of myself and three other people and one of those people happened to be a very small (100ish lbs) woman. She had an extremely hard time getting the deck to drop for a good month or two before her muscles on her right arm adjusted. We had three grand stands, a 52" and 60" and a 60" multiforce. The multiforce was the mower i would always take just because it felt like it didn't bog down nearly as much with thick or wet grass. Plus having the light in overcast days in shaded yards helped tremendously. Never got a chance to try out the plow attachment on it sadly!
We demoed a multi force a couple years ago. LOVED IT!! Mower, leaf blower, and aerator...Our boss kept pushing it in the budget....2 weeks before our fiscal year was up October 1, he finally said go ahead and get it.... NONE available!!! Had to settle for a regular grand stand. Our local guy found only one. It's in Ohio and had to have it shipped. Hopefully getting it this week. It was going to be a mower primarily, but the multi force would have been a game changer.
I ran Wrights for a few years and switched over to Toro after realizing how much better they handled wet and thick grass! Way less double cuts and a time saver. I actually think the grandstand holds steep hills better than the wrights i had
Nice that a company takes the info and changes to suit the customer not just turn out a product and take it or leave it. To much competition!!!( Great mower)
Great video Brain, I’ve demoed the toro multi force before and I like it I am hoping to get one in the future! Did you hear that the 2022 toro grandstand is battery/ electric?!
Weve been rocking a Toro Yimecutter SS 4200 for 5 years now, so far none of the parts have broke and mows through our thick grass like nothing. For what some people call a cheap mower, its reliable and long lasting
We run a normal grandstand 52 with a Kawasaki on it and that thing is a beast. Hardly ever bogs down, super comfortable to use. I can agree with you on the weight of that deck lever. We also have a older grandstand 60 that kinda sucks. The deck lever lifts the engine too so it’s very heavy and the front casters are small.
Bro., it is a nice looking mower no doubt. So cool how many other jobs you can do with it also.... As silly as it sounds I really dig the black wheels. Glad it mows nicer than the older model. Well done Toro!! Now, I know you like the saying mow that grass make that cash but, you already know 3MG'z about either mowin grass or drivin fast!!! Dirty Jersey out!! #broinlawns!!
I'm glad your opinion on the multiforce has changed! I remember the first demo 3 years ago, and now I've seen this one. I feel like the multiforce has improved alot the last few years
We demoed one from Catoe's Power Equipment here in SC a couple months ago. The 60 didn't get a long demo but an hour or so. I was pretty happy with it and was surprised on the speed when she is opened up, about threw me off. As far as how the gas tank moves out of the way for maintenance is nice for sure. As you said the deck handle is kinda rough but but it's good. As I said I had a short demo but I was impressed. They also brought me a 36 however it wasn't set up for use. Very similar but a few differences. On that one I liked how the engine pivoted with the deck. Really considering as a purchase up coming depending on the tax man's notion soon
Now with that being said I was also told the multi force isn't really worth it with its implements unless you get the blower. Only due to how they have priced them out and making them super expensive kinda over priced on purpose. However, the mulch bucket I was told by the rep to go aftermarket with a cart mate they have the hitch attachment for it and it's better material handling and weight vs the mulch bucket. Here in SC the leafs plow and snow blades are kinda a moot point since that's not a big things as where you're at.
I have my Multi-force 60 inch at my job mines also New, I have pinched my finger so your not the only one. But I'd rather have the John Deere or the Wright 60 inch cut.. little things like Cup holders and light placement always gets me. But I like mine but not all that thrilled about it....I think Wrights/ John Deere are more durable like all our grand stands and Multi-forces pulley bracket would get bent and the belt would come off. We replaced already 9 Pulleys so far. Also a lot of Hydro leaks, also in order to stay bone straight you have to balance the right or left up a little further up to keep it straighter. I do like the deck and the stand on deck but when ur on bumpy ground the toro sounds like it's falling apart shaky metal sounds like it's breaking. More suspension would be nice.
Got mine last year and just had random issues like only one wheel driving then back panel Falling off and now it’s in the shop and there saying it’s $600 to repair at 50 hours when I take it for a oil change
Listen I have a 48 inch grandstand regular mower with the mulch kit on and I cut 6 inch tall grass today in Jersey the backyards are wet one pass it was fine
That's a nice mower, I don't know anyone besides exmark that has the 5 yr /1250 warranty. I wish you would have told toro to send you a 4000 series so you could review it.
I have a grandstand with a 27hp motor and this thing rips- flipped it once and started right up(me going up a vertical hill. My only hate is the deck lift mine has the motor attached to the deck directly and has no lift assist so heavy to lift the deck but solid mower 9/10 very durable and reliable
Love my grandstand we got about 7 or 8 of the newer gen ones. No multiforces though. They made a big improvement from the original granstands they were slow and had alot of issues with that cooler fan on the side which is not on the newer guns. Great mower low maintenance controls are super easy and comfortable
Just picked up 2 months ago a regular 52 inch 22hp grandstand. Only 52 inch stand on that I could find around me at that time. And couldn't quite justify the extra 3k for a wright zk. I enjoy the large flip down deck. I can move around on it which is nice. I do not like the controls whatsoever. Idk why ive been operating numerous kinds of heavy equipment and hydraulics since 2007 and this is not a stable position for my hands and fingers. It is underpowered. It does not like traction and im 220lbs and know how and where to use my weight. The cut quality is better than a residential ride on mower but still a bit less than my walk behind bobcats. And even with me planted as far forward as possible, the front end is just so doggone light. Only advantage there is I can pull the front end up to prevent scalping in a tight area to reduce weedeating in a ditch lol
Brilliant video thank you very much, I would love a Toro step on lawnmower for my lawn care business in the U.K but it's way out of my price range maybe I could win one if Tori dose Compition ahahah if only.
Quick question. I have a toro grandstand 36 and when I'm mowing and going full speed, my deck lift lever bounces up and down. How do I stop that? The whole deck is bouncing too.
We have 2 60’s and a 52” multi force and they’ve all been in the shop for warranty work on the deck belt tensioner. After the fix we haven’t had the issue again. But for sure it was a very annoying problem.
I think the only thing that can somewhat compare to the toro grandstand multiforce, talking versatility point, is walker mower, I think it is the only other zrt mower with that much attachement availaible

That's true Brian the shoot blocks change the game. Have u ever thought of a kick cable? It's better than using your arms all the time
Thanks Brian
Having owned an older grandstand and loving it I'm biased. And with the versitility of the multi force it's in a class of its own.
