The EP sounds awesome by the way!!! Love the tape flutter on the guitar in the Ritual!

Hey bro! Such a sick tone dude!!! Amazing!
Also, great idea using the ribbon. I've been wanting to use ribbons on guitar for awhile, and I have a Coles 4038 that I bought mainly for drums, but to be honest, I often record guitar amps pretty loud, because I prefer it when the speakers are moving a bit, but I'm afraid to use my Coles right up on the grill, so I never use it. I do use it as a mono close room a lot, but I need a mid field ribbon, that can take more SPL's so I can stick it on axis right on the grill, and not have to worry. I bet I can do it if I angle the mic over the speaker a bit, and use a pop filter, but it wont be the same. What ribbon are you using, do you know? Was it like a Custom, or DIY thing? Sounds great!

My bro thank you for the comment, I use the Lenta p1 it’s a Russian mic, it’s a clone of the royer 110 I guess super cheap, you can still find it on reverb
