Hi Jordan! I have been suffering from serious depression lately, and today my choir teacher showed us this song and told us that we’re going to be preforming it at our next concert. When he showed us this video, I actually started crying because it had a much deeper meaning for me. I think this song is positively beyond beautiful and I hope you keep writing and preforming songs like these. This really encouraged me to “stand in the light and be seen as I am”. Can’t wait to sing it at the concert! :D

I was going through a lot 3 years ago. I was depressed and all and my friend's boyfriend sang this for me out of the blue. He probably had a hunch about my struggle or my friend told him about it and wanted to encourage me in his own way. Through him, I discovered this song and from then till now whenever I sing or just listen to it, it still makes me emotional. It makes me feel vulnerable and reminds me of how weak I am. But that alone comforts me cause that proves how I am struggling to survive to what you say stand in the light. I still see dimly but there are dots of light around now. I will get through this and your song would certainly be with me to comfort me when I needed strength at my weakened state.

He's really religious and went more the religious route and unfortunately the big time music industry doesn't really care for religious stuff. People don't want to request this on KissFM radio or B.96 and popular radio stations don't want to play it. So he's only marketing to a select audience. Even Whitney Houston had to sing the popular stuff and Gospel songs had to come second.
