- How to remove, install and adjust a K2 Pro Sprinkler Head . Screw it into the old male side. Make sure the arrow with the screw in it is facing your left start position by turning the inside turret using the key to pull it up counter clockwise, then check your arc and adjust the angle with he key in the very center not to hard took about a half hour.
As a good DIYer, I just got wet, I didn't fix anything 😁
Thank you for your help, I'll fix it now!! 💪🏽
Good luck you always end up getting wet with sprinklers no matter what even if you do it right have fun and good luck on your install
You can just unscrew the top cover to remove the turret/riser housing part and keep the base in the ground then screw in the new turret/riser . These K Pro sprinklers share the same ca housing, then why you need to replace it anyway. The method shown here @ 3:52 lets all the dirt to go in the filter as you screw in the entire unit in to that muddy water. I can easily replace this sprinkler head in less than 2 minutes.
Thanks for the dip excellent info and thank you for watching
Great video! I had the same problem but the written instructions were Greek to me. You saved me $$$.
Glad it helped!
Very good job! 🙌🏼 Now am able to do it my self! Your video help me a lot! Thank you for sharing! Now I don’t have to pay 😂
Great to hear do it yourself and save money. The sprinkler guy charges 60 bucks to change the head and these things only cost like about seven and all you gotta do is screw them in and just adjust them. Good luck thanks for watching.
@@TomLeeman Oh 😱 good to know that🙌🏼 already did, and I did very well thanks to your help 🤗

Your video was very helpful
Thanks and thanks for watching
Thanks for the video!
You bet!
The instructions you provided for setting the K2 sprinkler is completely wrong. That is why you had problems trying to adjust it. What you should have done like the instructions state is (1) Insert the key and pull the riser up. (2) Hold the bottom of the riser with one hand and rotate the top rotater to the right until you hear it click. Then rotate it back counterclockwise until it stops. (3) While still holding the lower riser rotate it to the desired left starting position using the top directional arrow on the top to align. (4) Release the lower riser and now the left starting position is set. (5) To set the right direction simply insert the key or a screwdriver in the arrow slot hole in the middle of the head and rotate to desired position such as 90, 180, 360 degrees etc. That is how you set a K2.
Thanks for the tip

I know the lower riser can be rotated in any direction to set thr desired left start but i have installed 2 of these and the tension is so strong in the springs it is extremely difficult to turn while still having is rising up in one hand, have you experienced that same ?
@sohelmallik0891 Use the metal key that came with the sprinkler and insert in the key slot. Using the left hand, hold the bottom of the sprinkler and, at the same time, use your right hand to lift the rotating riser up. One the riser is up, repositioning your right hand around the riser, and now you can set your left stopping point by rotating to the desired location. To set the right location, simply insert your key and turn the rotator clockwise to 90, 180, 360, as indicated in the dial. One thing I forgot to tell you is before you do anything I just stated make sure you set the sprinkler to zero left by using the palm of your right hand on top of the sprinkler and rotate the top all the way to the right and then all the way to the left until you hear a cluck. Now, you can begin using the other setup methods I talked about. It is an easy sprinkler to set up.
@@bamahammer3660 Thank you so much, I appreciate it, I will give it the same try for the next ones, I was eventually able to replace 2 of them but I struggled to set the left start in each of them but once set this was really the easiest one of them, my house has 9 zones and most of the heads are very old and most of them cannot be adjusted even, they were set in stone :) sort of when they were installed, so I am slowly replacing all of them .. the other big problem i have is since the system is running 2 times a week now, when i try to switch one the hole fills with muddy water and it becomes very difficult to maneuver around it as not to get dirt or debris in it .. good night
How to make it less than 90 degrees angle?
You can change the angle with the special key that they gave you. I made a video on that somewhere.
it'd be a great video if you had your camera on a tripod instead. thanks for sharing
I know it’s a little shaky sorry thanks for watching
Good instructions on how the sprinkler works but the camera work is a bit erratic, have someone else do the camera work while you are focusing on the instructions. This was very helpful.
👍👍
Thanks
Sorry Tom. Your installation instructions are incorrect. Here's the manufacturer's video on how to install the K2 Pro: ruclips.net/video/f--_2n_D-zc/видео.html
Thanks for the information appreciate it will try that next time
Haha. Dude come on. Ok handy man. Get a real job
Thanks good luck on your install
