Please keep doing ableton tutorials / experiments. Even just watching you futz around is more valuable and engaging than most of the 'certified' training channels out there.

A genuine Ned Rush Tangent brought to you by The Internet!
I already forgot if you mentioned it up front, but if not, might be worth putting an annotation in the beginning of the video that the Beat Repeats should be set to Insert like in your custom default (instead of Gate, which is the factory default)
Thats a very good point.
Happy Breaks+giving Ned

I played that Beastie Boys break on my college radio show when Check Yo Head dropped. Of course I've heard of it lol. Good choice Ned
holy shit, I used beat repeat for years, but never thought of using it multiples times on the same track..
I've used sampler, sliced per beat, but this is way more chaotic (better), amazing inspiration ty

Wauw 👍 awesome video… for me, anyway… I’ve been thinking about how I can make it so that I can perform a ‘virtual drum solo devise’… and, here it is 😁 I am going to copy this exact approach to doing just that… and I think it’s going to work just beautifully 😁😁😁 Thank you so much for your inspiration 🙏🏽❤️🇫🇴 peace and love
