Dude your videos are a combination of all the things I love to do. You make it look so easy. I've had a printer for 6 months or so and you're already more proficient than I am at modeling. Keep up the solid work man I love your videos.
Thank you a lot Dayne :) I have to say I'm not new to 3d modeling, I never used Fusion360 before but I know pretty well many other 3D software, so it's easier for me :)
Thank you my friend :) Actually I already did that, and I also stamped it on the sheath you see in this video, hidden behind the belt loop! A little easter egg :'D
Love your work :) You didn't have to wet the leather? or heat treated? Looks great but will the appearance last permanently or will it "undone" it self in time?
hey man, in cura you can add a command to bring your build table at the front after finish printing and not the back like in your video! lol You go in the "end gcode" to add the command. I home the Y axis then move it a specific amount of step until it's a the front.
G28 X0 Y0 ;move X/Y to min endstops so the head is out of the way G90 ;absolute positioning G1 Y180 ; Move Y forward M84 ; Steppers off G90 ; Absolute positioning M106 S0 ; Turn off fan
So is just the pressure from the arbor enough to do this? And it will last that way? If so, those pieces must be stronger than I realized. Nice vid and I like the music man.
Thanks!! Yeah just a little tap with the arbor press, wet natural leather can be marked with very little effort, and once it dries it become very hard. It should last forever if you don't wet the leather again and reshape it :)
Great work man :) Your first layer seems either a bit too high or maybe a bit underextruded. By the looks of the rest of the print, extrusion is probably fine, so your nozzle probably starts a bit too high. Keep it up :)
Thanks Vedran! :) I know you know bed leveling is a pain xD But everytime is a little better! I'm now trying a series of long prints, 15hr or so, I could watch it extrude all day :')
I know... You should try out auto bed leveling. I use cheap inductive sensor over aluminum bed (no glass) and it just works. If your bed is slightly warped, there's mesh bed leveling to fix that. If you're keen on keeping the glass over aluminum bed (not needed IHMO), you can try one of mechanical leveling sensors.
Just starting with leatherworking and didn't think about using my 3D printer to print custom stamps. What material did you use and what has the long term durability been like (since I now see this video is over a year and a half old)?
I don't :) Thank you for asking. But my models are free to download and anyone with a 3d printer wouldn't ask you nothing to print these, so little material :) Ask friends! :)
First 3D printing project!
Download my stamp models for free here:

Possibly the coolest knife making tool ever.
:') Possibly the easiest one to make! Thanks mate

Man, that's why I love your channel! I never thought bout having a 3D printer for direct practical use in the shop! Loved the ideas! Thanks mate!
Thank you a lot man :) I'll make more practical stuff soon!
Awesome! Cant wait to finally have the money to finish my shop! Belt grinder, drill press, circular saw... and now probably a 3D printer! lol
You are such a creative person.
Thank you Slavko :D
That is super cool!
Thank you my friend :)
Nice ideas... one of these days I'll actually get around to doing some leather crafting, and now I have another potential tool available. Thanks!
That's great!! :) Thank you man :)
Great! I just bought my first 3D printer. Thank you 😃
I noticed you use a press rather than a mallet, can these parts survive being hit with a mallet or would they break?
Just finished mine they works great!!!
Great man!!! :) Ur fast! :) Have fun!
Nice video BB still love that 3D printer so much....
Thank you my friend! :)
Genius, pure genius sir!
Thanks man! :)
Awesome result my friend.
Thank you brother :)
FUSION 360 FTW!!!!! I like your Videos! Nice project!
Thanks!!! :) Never used Fusion360 before, pretty cool!! :')
Great work, Mate. You should make a stamp with the Black Beard logo!
Thank you my friend :) Actually I already did that, and I also stamped it on the sheath you see in this video, hidden behind the belt loop! A little easter egg :'D
Fun! Great idea! I definitely have to try that! Thanks a lot for sharing!
Thank you man! :) let me know how it works when you try!
Bravissimo, video godibilissimi, professionali ed ispiranti
Grazie mille :) :) :)
Nice work Gader,very impressive!
Thanks brother :) :)
Good work. You have really good ideas.
Thanks man! :)
That a ery cool idea!
Thanks!
Love your work :)

Great work...what kind of metal to use to make stamp thanks
It's called plastic....
Very nice! 🤘
Thanks pal :)
Great idea bro, love the design ;) and project turned out great :)
Moris
Thank you my friend! :) Now I can cheat when I want to stamp a knot on leather xD
wow...that was beautiful!! nice work!!
Thank you!! :)
That was absolutely bloody incredible!
You my friend are one talented person
Diamine ma non starai esagerando un pochino?!?! ;)
Complimenti, sempre progetti puliti e ben presentati, continua così!
Grazie mille Andrea :D

G28 X0 Y0 ;move X/Y to min endstops so the head is out of the way
G90 ;absolute positioning
G1 Y180 ; Move Y forward
M84 ; Steppers off
G90 ; Absolute positioning
M106 S0 ; Turn off fan
In case you didn't know, you can set the park position of your printer to bring the printbed forward after a print is completed.
Following your example I made one myself... A question for You wich filament have you used please?
Hi I have a question, What type of material did you use, PLA ABS?
nice project :D
What kind of filament did you use? PLA? ABS?
really cool stuff which gives plenty of possibilities
Cheers mate :P
I used PLA, 100% infill :) For real! Thank you mate, cheers! :)
Very awesome!
Thanks brother :)
Has the PLA stood up to repeated use?

former machine tool designer hear. used Autocad and Solidworks 15 years ago. Is Fusion capable as a free replacement to the high end cadd?
As far as I know Fusion360 can't really replace Autocad for 2d... But it's a great software! Try it!
That looks awesome! Have you tested how much you can really lean into it with the printed rod?
That's the first time I've seen something useful made with a 3D printer. Nice work!
Haha! Thanks brother :)
Dude! that's awesome
Thank you my friend! :)
Nicely done!
without having the machine there, could this be done with say a hammer and some love taps?
you seem to realy like viking style and thats awesome !, and, imagine you can stamp your own logo 😍
I do! :) Viking style is so fascinating to me!
Yes my Ancestors are Awesome ;)
Love it
Thank you!
is it possible to create such stamps with cheaper 3d printers, or is it preferred to use a more expensive 3d printer in regards to quality?
nice job bro :)
Thank you!
very nice job but make the leather a little bit wet and it works even better.
It does! And if you look carefully you can see the leather in this video is wet :)
Great work man :)

No, thank you :) :)
This must have taken a lot of time very creative tho well done mate🍺
Thank you mate! :)
What was the material used to print the stamps and how well have they held up over time?
Love you bro I am big fan of you
Nothing is going to stop you now!!!
Haha! :D
Just starting with leatherworking and didn't think about using my 3D printer to print custom stamps. What material did you use and what has the long term durability been like (since I now see this video is over a year and a half old)?
oh yeah baby👍👍👊
Ehy bro! :D
Mitico!!!! Ma non è che mi riesci a stampare anche un clichè per banconote da 50 euro? :-)
Haha! :) Certamente! Grazie Straker :)
How is it that you extrude it in a pyramid? Thanks a lot.
What leather was used? What do you call that machine that stamps?
dig it. earned my sub ☻
Thanks bro! :)
muito bom e trabalhoso.
mi fai venire voglia di comprare una stampante 3d
Haha! :') Mi fa piacere!
Can you hit these 3D stamps with a mallet?
Do you sell them? ANd what is the cost?
I don't :) Thank you for asking. But my models are free to download and anyone with a 3d printer wouldn't ask you nothing to print these, so little material :) Ask friends! :)
What kind of press is that?
Called "Arbor press" :)
Muito bom!!!!
bel video
Grazie!
First like
Thanks Jonathan!
jes
You shouldn't print this pivot I think. It would be better if You did it with metal. It some waste of material. :)
It's working fine :) PLA is cheap bro!
first
Holy shit! You are faster than my ctrlV
