It makes me so sad that houses like these get torn down for the new boring looking houses. This could be a really nice place if a little money was put it in. But people think they need brand new of everything these days. It’s just sad.
This would have been a nice house in its day , Ethan. At least they are doing their best to recycle what they can , never seen the wall tiles removed . Must have been marble . Another awesome explore Ethan .
Another 💎 gem that could’ve would’ve and should’ve had more years to let someone enjoy,it would’ve been perfect enough👍✅😁Thanks for your tour of it seeing remaining elements, A big old farm house where I lived in my teens had a room under the staircase, and it had a legend and it was haunted.
That slab of wood in the mechanical room in the basement looks like the mantle piece for the fireplace. The chandelier in the formal dining room is beautiful!
I loved the sort of Georgian style that this one had with the symmetrical look at the front. The oak staircase & flooring upstairs (plus the size of the bedrooms) were favourites too.🥰Even though the house was stripped of many things (which makes me happy it's being reused), there was still lots to talk about in this one! The 2 powder rooms (it IS weird when they do that and don't add a coat closet somewhere!), the story behind the gold rocks we'll never know, and (i think?) a pizza oven out on the sunroom area were all pretty interesting! Apparently teak wood is very valuable now because of all the deforestation where those trees usually grow. 😟 Anyway, thank you so much for taking us along so we get to see these houses too! 😊💕
I enjoy your videos so much. I love to see the basements, because I live in Texas and we don't have them. It's also 80 degrees and climbing here - so sorry that it's still cold there!
This must have been a pretty nice home when it was built. The rooms are all good-sized. Like you, I'm glad to see the fixtures and wood are being recycled. I particularly like the oak staircase. It looks so clean and bright. Thanks for showing us around, Ethan!
Cool. I always hope they will salvage as much as possible, though I'd never seen them in progress. It looks like they are gutting the place. It softens the blow of perfectly livable houses being torn down to then quickly build a bunch of houses in the same space.
She's a beauty Ethan. Bummer the house is going to be demoed. Sucks. I hope that more flooring and fixtures are removed. Really nice staircase. Hi to Carlo.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is the first time I have seen on your explores that have the sauna walls ripped out. What are the others? Would be interesting to see..🤗. Nice little house. I hope more gets salvaged. Thank you for the explore. 🤗❤
Hey Ethan nice home. I don’t like the floors with the oak. I wonder if originally was oak flooring & they switched it up. I love both , but not together. The upstairs looks beautiful to me because it’s all oak just like the stairs. Thanks Ethan
Cool little house. Stately front facade. Would have been so much more cost effective to stay and restore the house than to knock it down and start from nothing. Not much land to make it much bigger. Nice adequate basement space. Big kitchen area. Large living room. Nice sized bedrooms. Why does every one need to build larger homes on small lots?!? I’d rather live off the beaten path. Still thinking about that last gorgeous brick dream home with the pond and acreage. Sad to think of this being smashed to bits but I must be in the minority these days. Thanks for another fun explore Ethan! Take care of yourself, be well and stay safe in this crazed world.
I feel the same! I’d rather live away from people these days. But it makes me sad for houses like this. They aren’t bad! I don’t know why people are so greedy and materialistic to think they need a brand new home as opposed to this. I’d love a house like this. Many people will never know what it’s like to own a home like this. And then there are those few who have more money than they know what to do with and just throw good stuff away like this house.
Ethan, I have been following you for a while and I noticed that you are moving quicker through the houses then you used to. I literally thought I had you at double speed in this video. Also, you are speaking faster too. Have you noticed this as well?
@@jessierob97thank you for your suggestion. But Ethan has filmed with many others in the past and this has not been an issue. We all change and evolve over time. I try not to speculate, that's why I am asking Ethan if he has noticed.
@@FlowersHereGrow not minding it is not the issue. As I stated above, I will not speculate on the reason. This is what I have observed and that's why I posed the question to Ethan, himself.
I have noticed it recently as well. It's like his whole demeanor has been changed. It's like he's on too much caffeine or something. I feel like he's moving way too fast, and very jerky. I can't even focus on anything or follow anything he's saying about it. His buddy is usually with him, so he's not the reason either. I've skipped a few videos of his because of this.
You get all the good ones, mostly mob $$$. Thats who I worked for for 40 years. Lucky I didnt get killed. One frind/cust was shot in front of His house. Been there done that, Many times
Ethan, thank you so much for showing & sharing these homes! You always make me smile w/ your Canadian accent, makes my day!

This must have been a nice house. I am glad that they removed items to possibly place them in their new home. Thank you Ethan. ❤
Another awesome video ! Thanks Ethan ;)
I thought those were potatoes, before you said rocks😄
My teeth wouldn't agree with fries made out of these things, that's for sure 😂
Mine either😂
Ethan, I thought houses built in the 1960’s was your sweet spot! 😊

That door oven is quite nefarious! 😮
😂 the bottle of “soap”
About as suspect as the random apple juice you sometimes find on abandoned houses!

I think that little Radio Flyer skateboard was so cool! Probably worth some $
Very nice home. Nothing over the top just pleasant. Thanks for sharing.
Nice house Ethan, again hate that it's going bye bye. Sick of it, tear down everything I guess.

I love all the tile floors!

Radio Flyer also made sleds. I still have mine!
That's a beautiful house I'd definitely love to live there!!❤
Cool house, What a shame ,Good video. I like your style for recording sometimes you're funny. 😊👍
Beautiful 😍 home 🏡, oh boy 😂❤😂
Cedar wood is $$$ for sauna
I appreciate all your work Ethan. Thank you.

They put bathrooms close so can hook up to same plumbing
In the sauna, they would use ceder wood, which is pricey. We have an indoor pool and we used cedar wood for it particular room
I like it not bad nice size rooms even the outside is nice
Gold...? Lol.
I loved it thanks for sharing . ❤❤❤ stay safe love ya

IMO, they're doing that house a favor by leveling it. Tract home nouveau riche! 🤮

Beautiful home
A pleasant basic house.
Nice size house Ethan...shame again its going to be pulled down 😢...stay safe well and happy 💋
Hello Ethan,
What an awesome 80s home
I wonder if the room with the 1/2 bath off it was a family/living room and the front room with the crystal chandelier is the dining room.
The cedar wood in the sauna is valuable.
Yes, it is a very hardy wood with fantastic properties, and smelling amazing.
Hi Ethan❤
Such a great place ❤
This is James Barrow so this house is going to be torn down
Thanks ethan
