I am very happy to see that the steadicam operator of life there in the US is very quiet . Here when hiring this service, even camera want to stop just because the steadicam station paying. My dream is to reach this level of respect and valorization profissinal here.
I am looking to work in Steadicam. I own my own steadicam type rig, that is brand name and works beautifully, but have no idea how to acquire steadicam work... any ideas? Especially at ESPN....
In regards to dynamic balance and if it was important to you couldn't you just disconnect the cable, get into dynamic balance, reattach the cable, and get back into static balance. This should keep you pretty damn close. I'm watching this because I want to learn more about broadcast steadi work.
