Love the NSR for fossils! Such an incredible prehistorically significant place, my one and only time there I came back with my two absolute best fossils specimens yet.. an intact very detailed mosasaur vertebrae almost the size of my fist, and an Enchodus jaw fragment with the sabre tooth almost intact, they're nicknamed sabertooth herring even though there is no relation between the species lol
Could you give me some good places for an easier access to the River bed? We have a few people in our group that are afraid to come hunt with us, and that’s just not fun to leave them behind :/
The least challenging entry is the walk down trail accross the street from the Fossil park parking lot. We will also be showing that access point more clearly in our upcoming tutorial on access points.
