I drive a 2012 Clio RS 200 with the akropovic exhaust & Bilstien B14 coilovers. Literally nothing has gone wrong & only the battery & regular services. My boys all loved the Clio so much that two of them have bought their own 2010 RS 200 !!! My other car is an Alpine A110 which is simply the best car I have ever driven but even so, I still love getting into the Clio every single time, The Recaro seats are supportive and comfortable. The Brembo brakes are superb as long as you run the right pads and its just so well balanced. Plus super practical.
My old clio 😊 Had so much love for that car, So glad Liam has had this car added his twist to it. When Liam came to view it, I was drinking some rum and coke and chewing his ear off for an hour 😂 And I think the car has never had an issue since owning it. The car has had a proper enthusiasts ownership for every owner. The car got upgrades where ever it had work done. I had the box rebuilt, fitted a ttv flywheel and clutch damper delete.
I totally get your review, as I sold my sterile RS3 for one.. they are so much fun to throw around and cheap to look after.. With regard to reliability thats all down to maintaining it properly and it be fine.
Been thinking about saving for one of these tbh, seems like a good car. The keys are funny tho lol, used to drive my mates megane 225, had the diff etc, absolute monster for blasting about, my top 3 has to be the 225, clio 182 and my R50 mini as best handling that ive drove, would love a go in a teg etc etc, cheers for the vid mate 👊
I previously owned this car , was completely standard when I took ownership of it!! I then Built it to track spec ( KW’s , Cams, Diff , Rear cage etc ) and had good success running it in Timeattack and doing trackdays How can find information about the future sale ?
great video , ive had a 197 cup for 4 years now, bought cheap and it did have a few problems but has served me well. it needed a new terring rack recently and it wasnt available from rpd anymore, and i think theres a few more parts that have also become difficult to find from the dealers sadly. long and not so great story, ended up having my rack refurbished. Have abit of trouble with the rear brakes too which os being looked at (binding, abs ring probs) i really wish i had an rs200 but i do like the 197 its a daily driver so probably waste🎉d on the commute.
@@6TWO1 - the big brakes and final tune yeah. It’s running 230hp on the original turbo but that’s the limit so need to get a hybrid in there everything else other than the brakes are ready for engine forge and over 350hp if I go that far. For now I just want 270 and bigger brakes. I think it will be done in 6 weeks, I’ll keep in touch 👍🏻

You sold a rs3 for a Renault Clio 😂😂
O want one so bad
@@erikturner3866a clio rs** You could make the same argument for selling a clio rs for an a3. Doesnt really track buddy.
really is a masterclass of a hot hatch. I love mine. Ive had a 182 also and that was brilliant but the 200 is better

I’ve got one, great little cars with a few niggles like failing engine mounts and exhaust flexi’s sublime handling but could do with another 50hp.

Until you drive a 270bhp Colt ralliart that cost under 7.5k to tune and buy the car 😁 including big breaks and tein coilovers
Got one for me to have a go in?
