Well, I moved here 9 years after living 15 years in the Bronx & Queens. So for me its much better then were I used to live. No alternate parking in my block. I love the climate. But yeah, not much going on here. But I am over 50 and my wild days are long gone, so that is just fine with me. I am also extremely lucky , so far, with the rent I am paying for my house. Most pay almost double of what I pay. I am also blessed with a job that pays for my mileage and commuting times since I work as a Field Service tech. It makes commuting much more bearable if you get paid for it. But yes, its a LONG grinding commute. It can take up easily 3-4 hours a day depending on where you have to go. People that move here for the slightly cheaper housing often don't calculate the cost of daily commute. And with those Commie-fornia gas prices it is substantial. I live well here, I have a good income and live by myself with my dogs. . BUT, I do not know how folks with lower income and family make it. This is an area where having a car is a MUST, unlike NYC were its more of a burden . I noticed that People here are quite uninformed overall and many have never travelled far.

It's right you go to 47th and s like you're going up to Little Rock that's all ghetto but if you have the cash and you want to live somewhere nice you got to go move by the antelope valley Mall that's where the real nice houses are at
👍
Yup, nice area. Great Golf course.
Place is a shit hole. There are very few, IF ANY pros to living in Palmdale. Rampant crime should be the main reason to hate this place, but the growing homelessness/panhandling, deteriorating roads and just overall lack of respect and pride for your own community are right up there with it.
What about crime????
Higher level
Lot's of that.😅
Which type crime ? Pls tell me
It might be in LA county, but there’s nothing culturally relatable in Antelope Valley. Really belongs to Kern county.
👍
why is everybody hating Palmdale it’s pretty nice here
People say it’s high crime rate
Don't. Just.... don't
I think you are right 👍
This is where my house I live
Lucky you!
I used to in Lancaster but moved to Palmdale so much crime In Lancaster and still going on death kidnappings missing people robbers since moved to Palmdale my life is better yes we have crime but not as much as Lancaster I fell safer living here then I did in Lancaster and people are more friendly here I ❤Palmdale and its closer to the places I go to 😊
I'm on 40th east and it's been very nice and calm lately but just like any other city you drive 5 to 10 min. Down and it might feel uncomfortable 😂 but overall it's not horrible like ppl say
Derek ????
I live in palmdale. Palmdale sucks it’s boring.
That was all the far EASTSIDE of Palmdale
Once I was walking around clueless on a
Street like this in Tacoma going “doot do doo” “why no one outside” next second some
Asian Wanna be gangsta pulls my card “where you from “ and puts a gun to my face…. Watch out for those squatty little poopers.

When I used to live in Palmdale back in 2007 (I was 9) I lived in a KB Homes residencial area. I don’t think I ever noticed any ghetto shit.
