It's used as flexible end piece (following the heavy stiff SBR rubber hose) on suction excavators in road construction for example.ruclips.net/video/swJZSXMR6s0/видео.html It,s more lightweight than pvc hose. But my sampling hose in this vid is cheap pvc hose that lasts a few weeks Cheers
