Hi Shelby thanks so much. I'm a uk actress and had a few tap lessons at the actors centre years ago but have an audition Monday for Stepping Out and as they say over here "I'm bricking it". I was confused as taught to start with shuffle but saw lots of stuff on line to start with stomp. you have made it very clear and easy follow. Cheers x

In Australia we do these time steps. From my experience, starting with a stomp is an off best time step. I learnt under the British Ballet Organisation (BBO)
we're visiting New York end of July/beginning of August. I'm looking to experience a class whilst we're there if poss..do you have open classes running?thanks a
+Joanne Rothwell Yes, I have 3 open classes at Steps on Broadway... two advanced beginner (Wednesdays at 7:30pm, and Sundays at 11:00am), and 1 beginner (Wednesdays at 6:00pm). Definitely check the schedule at www.stepsonbroadway.com to make sure I don't have a sub when you decide to come! Hope to see you there! I also teach private lessons if you are interested!
