GUNSHIP, just knock Synthwave out of the fucking park, every damn time. Alex's vocals are like the ghost of the 80's beckoning you to pull the tarp off your Countach and take a ride through every movie you ever loved, park up at the Goondox and smoke some neon.

GUNSHIP is the King of synthwave, or one of the Kings. Vocals, musical construction and consistently, the structure of their songs combined with keys, octaves, and chord progressions that you just don't see synergize together with most music these days. It's all the same shit. I've never introduced someone to GUNSHIP, Perturbator, or Kavinsky, (I could go on) that didn't love it 30 seconds into a song

This whole album holds a very special place in my heart. Came out during a pretty dark period of my life and has really helped me get through it.
This song is the one that really stands out though.... It sounds a bit like a retro Brand New in all the right ways. Its perfect.
