I visited my Kuldevi for the first time in my life, know more about the many strange stories I uncovered over there: ruclips.net/video/-yrtFJFgn9w/видео.html
What is this unmanifested, unpersonified pure consciousness... ? :) Not sure able to understand.. maybe there is some sanskrit term you are referring to?
@@InSpirituality not one but huge literature. Prose is Manimekalai and jivaka chintamani. Then poems naladiyar and aruga deva nigandu then more than 20 literature you can get in Tamil alone
Okk. I have no reason to go through that. I have heard of it. There is enough non-tamil literature for me to read if I want. But I much rather prefer talking to people and understanding from those who have some idea. Moreover, for any topic in spirituality there will be 20 books one can read. I doubt what value it will add my life. I am not trying get a PhD degree. Plus, I am talking a lot on basis of practical reality for the typical jain sadhaka. Whatever may be written in the books, that is a separate study.

Jain believes in unmanifested unpersonified pure consciousness and those who realizes that are Tirthankar. Hence we honor them as they show the way.

I am also well aware of the southern footprint of Jainism. It's sad that nowadays even Jain youth living in south India are often not aware of it.
