char futur 4 really is good for flanking and the long clip reload makes you reposition almost every time wich also help with its purpose of being a aggressive tank that can harass heavy tanks (also secret tip you can angle the top of your turret you can bounce some shot but is very rng)
I seem to perform better with the only marginally higher loading time of 6.6sec of T-54 accuracy gun than the 4 sec of Char, becaude it has better (baitier) armor and is basically an unending clip
I usually carry 8 heat shells because the shell velocity on the apcr is just so good and the pen is good enough to to pen lower plates of anything, and the gun handling is good enough that you HIT the lower plates of anything. Also, I have a habit of shooting low so I often get "armour not hit" with heat ;-;. I just carry the heat to ensure I don't lose a game because I could've penned something if I had heat.
Recently I've managed to mark Char Futur and it's my highest tier tank with 3 moe. It was a rough journey but not because the tank rather matchmaking and often my raging brainless stupidity :D But I improved my gameplay massively, something I wasn't sure of being capable after 12 years playing this game. For me its the best tank from the Battlepass, other don't offer such an interesting gameplay and consistency. Cobra is also great but it's pure RNG on the tracks and credits-killer :D
Yea I agree about noobs in super heavies.. Need to learn how to use less armor effectively first. Had so many new players playing heavies and just yoloing in because they think that their heavy armor will bounce everything for them. They don't understand how to side scrape or how to use a hull down, die nearly immediately and end up not being able to help the team as much as they could have. I think the char futur is an amazing first or second pick considering how many tokens it takes to get it. Played a couple games in it and did pretty well so I think with a fully trained crew and equipment you're bound to get good results often if you play well.
I love the char!! This tank is amazing when everything goes right and the game lasts a long time! It has camo, it has view range, it has a sniper gun! With potential to clip out opponents that are un aware! Or lack 1600hp or less Mmm!!

There are a lot of clueless people in the char but it can be really dangerous. A tank that has very good camo and a nerfed version of the t57 autoloader shouldn't be underestimated.
Char is great now as relatively fresh tank :) give it few years it would share a fate of B-Chat and Lorraine from great becoming good/average. Powercreep in WoT is worster year by year and buying premium tanks you must udnerstand that after few years I will be nerfed or at least will fall behind Wargaming newest premium toys. I understand that game need to evolve but WG greediness is real thing.
Indeed, the tank feels pretty nice to play, when the stars align and you are loaded and the map is big and slow paced, but nowdays when most of the games end in 3 - 4 minutes, you will end up being useless for more than half of the game because of the straight retarded reload time. I find it pretty hard to recommend this tank, knowing that the chances of it actual working are less than 1 in 10. Nice video though! Cheers!
You just suck at playing Char, I am a totally average player, 51% win rate with battles and also around 50% win rate with most tanks, but with char I got 1500 games played and 54% win rate, you need patience to play with it which you obviously don't have.

The char futur is a great tank to learn patience with. It's helped me get a lot better for sure haha

Ventilation could be put in the spotting slot and turbo in mobility that way more bonus on equipments ! Or is it a bug ?
As equipment is already improved you can't improve it further more by putting in the slot
