The Filipinos in our Immigration shouldn’t give a traumatic experience or a not so pleasant experience. We are talking about Filipinos checking Filipinos and for vacation trips they shouldn’t be treated differently. Foreign immigration aren’t like this and treats their citizens better.
I agree. My first immigration experience was like a job interview, e.g how much I earned, proof of being a professional degree holder even my bank account was checked and so fort. I feel I was being predominantly judged. So far it took me 30 minutes before he let me pass to departure area. But not all Immigration officer is doing that, sadyang sinipagan lang si sir magtanong ng magtanong.. Haha
Hi fam, hindi pa po tapos ang Osaka Vlogs :) inuna ko lang i-upload ito since marami sa inyo ang curious about the updated travel requirements to Hong Kong 😊 Ready to travel again? Don’t go without travel insurance: safetywing.com/?referenceID=24900626&Ambassador
Konting takeaways lang from the vlog, first dapat magkakasama na kayo sa pila sa IO, pwede ka mauna kasi madami ka na naman tatak sa passport and just say na kasama mo sila. Don't leave 1st timers alone lalo na single girls red flag agad yan. Next, never change currency sa airport unless emergency kasi taga yan everywhere. Like nacalculate ko yun P11k ang exchange rate nakuha nya is P8 to HKD1. Last, tutal 5 full days naman kayo yun 1 extra day pwede magMacau day tour para 2in1 na, madagdagan tatak or papel sa passport nila and at the same time maganda din sa Macau😁
However, di mo din kasi alam kung tatawagin ka ng ibang counter or magkakaibang IO kayo.
My first international travel was HK too. My sisters and I went there the year Disneyland Hong Kong opened. The female immigration officer who interviewed us was very friendly. She first interviewed me, asked for the accommodation, duration of my stay and who are my companions. When she learned that I was travelling with my two sisters, she motioned for them to join me so that she can interview us altogether. So thankful that we had a smooth experience with the immigration on our first trip outside the country. We were lucky, I guess.
@@coachedisonvargas That time, we booked our HK trip thru a travel agency. If I remember correctly, almost 50k (total for 3pax) yung tour package w/c includes the plane ticket & accommodation for a 4D3N stay. Pero that was in 2009 pa. At mas mahal pag nagbook thru travel agency. Since it's our first trip overseas, nag opt kami na mag travel agency. I'm not sure how much na ang HK trip ngayon, with the pandemic & everything. I hope I answered your question😊
This vlog gave me so much joy. Naalala ko bigla yung first time ko rin mag-out-of-the country trip, at Hong Kong din ang destination. May halong kaba, takot, excitement, at saya. Thank you for documenting your experience.
HK was also our first trip abroad as a family. Nakakadalawang balik pa lang kami ever since. Will definitely visit again soon!
Thanks for sharing. HK was my 1st international flight & I enjoyed it, kaya nagpabalik-balik ako. 😊 The last time I watched your blogs in Bangkok, na-inspire ako. Ayun gumora kming mag-iina sa BKK 😅. I enjoy watching your vlogs. You are natural & very pleasant. More powers to you & wishing you all the best. God bless.😊💕
Naawa ako kay Caz Vanessa but congrats on your first international flight! Enjoy HK guys! Happy holidays! ❤
This reminds me sooo much of our first intl travel and also in Hong Kong. Sa sobrang saya namin gusto namin halikan yong sahig sa labas ng airport hahaha happy for you and for your cousins for having successfully passed the immigration and get to visit HK! not my favorite but it holds a special place in my heart for an eye-opening experience and life-changing travel. Enjoy the remainder of your stay in HK!
Hi Sir JM I would like to express my thanks to you and your vlog about going on a tour to Hong Kong. Your vlog is very informative and great to watch. FYI I am a retired OFW and a senior. Recently my wife together with my son made a 10 day tour in Hong Kong. We followed all your advised and visited the places you recommended. We visited places like Ngong Ping 360 had a wonderful time riding the cable car and see the giant Buddha, ride the Peak Tram, have pictures taken with celebrities at Madam Tussaud & see the Hong Kong skyline by the Sky Terrace, visited Macau by bus, seen the lights at the Avenue of Stars, spent 2 days in Disneyland and stayed at Explorers Hotel Disneyland. we also went to Luvenus for some Jewelry and had Chinese food at Haiphong Street as you recommended. However we had one disappointing experience. My son who is also an OFW in Dubai book our hotel at Philippine Hostel Block C at Chung King Mansions through Booking.com with confirmation number. When we arrive at the Philippine Hostel the proprietor said we have no booking reservation. We showed him our reservation and insisted we have no reservation and that the hostel is fully occupied. He told us to talk with booking.com and we replied we have a confirmed reservation from Booking.com. Our conversation kept on going until the proprietor push me and my family out and shut the door. We came back to lobby and fortunately there were 2 Kababayans who help us find a vacant hotel room. We were able to have a room at Pacific Lodge Hostel at Chung King Mansion. My son have to pay cash for 6500 HKD about 46,000 pesos compared to 4009 HKD ( 28,000 pesos ) if we had our rooms at Philippine hostel. My son did not have second thoughts about the cost as long as we have place to stay. Nevertheless we still had a wonderful time and we will cherish these memories forever. Thanks to my son for sharing his blessings to his Mom & Dad and God will bless him. Thanks once again Sir JM more power to your vlog keep on doing your content for it is very helpful. Ingat stay safe and God Bless po.
Tips for first-timers also :D I think mga IO tinitignan rin yung body language kaya kung super nervous ka talagang iprepressure nila. Just look confident kasi wala ka naman tinatago, act natural lang ;) I think they're just making sure hindi magtratrabaho outside the country using a tourist visa. Have fun po JM & cousins! :)
Hi JM. I am reviewing it again to take notes about your IO and itin. Me and my friends are going to HK next yr 2024 sa January 😁. Medyo nag wo-worry din ako kasi, though this will be my second time traveling abroad pero 2015 pa yun, baka ma gisa pa ko nang masyado dahil sa current work ko as virtual assistant.
I had this 1st international travel last month lang sa hongkong as well.
While watching, I can't help but smile. 😊 Hong Kong is my 1st international travel as well. Like all 1st timers, it took me a bit sa IO. But yes, nakalusot naman din. Enjoy HK. 🇭🇰
Done with SoKor and Taiwan series. HK series nmn. Actually I have upcoming HK travel this August, sadly I'm done arranging my itinerary, late ko na nakita vlogs mo hehe. Pero watching the series could still be helpful, malay natin. 😁
we also stayed in the same building mas mura kasi and d ka naman mag stay ng buong araw sa hotel eh d gastusin na lang sa mga tour un pang magandang hotel yehey pareho tau ng choice sir JM
Super helpful nito! Hahaha I feel you Cuz Vanessa!!!
naawa naman ako kay cuz Vanessa 😣 at least, nasa HK ka na! ibang klaseng saya din talaga kapag nagtravel ka with family. lalo na pag first timers sila. iba yung kurot sa heart pag nakikita mo sila na sobrang amazed at masaya sa mga nakikita at naeeexperience nila. ingat kayo and enjoy the rest of the holidays in HK! 😀
Been to HKG 15 years ago. Was supposed to be back June 2020 with my son, kaso nag lockdown early March. Super looking forward ako makabalik dyan, hopefully mas luwagan nila ng konti ang requirements (hassle-free) especially if travelling with a child 😊 Thanks for sharing JM, enjoy your HKG travel with cousins 😊
Ang saya i remember when i traveled with my bff cousin na hindi ko nakita in 10years. We went sa Japan naman dun kami gumala at so happy kasi ang galing nya sa navigation at pag budget LOL
Omggg! Kaka-booked ko lang ng flight to HK and there you are! Searching for HK travel vlogs, buti meron ka na po 🎉❤😊 Thanks, this will be a great help po.
:D kakamiss HK, naway makabalik.
Stayed in the same area during our HK trip. Favorite namin yung stall across the street of Jollibee (yung corner stall) na nagtitinda ng fried food. Favorite namin yung fried squid and rice in lotus leaf (machang). Wish I could remember the name basta paglabas mo ng jollibee tatawid ka straight ng konti tapos unang stall na may fried food. Must try! Nakakamiss!
Hi Sir JM, I'm planning po to go to Hong Kong this coming September, mag to-tour lang sana ako, wala kasi ako idea kung saan at paano po ako kukuha thru online ng titirahan ko sa Hong Kong for 5 days. Sana kahit yung mumurahin lang as in tutulugan ko lang kasi more on pasyal talaga ako sa Hong Kong. Sana po matulungan niyo ako. Maraming Salamay Sir JM.
Hello JM regards mo ako dyan sa HK.. dating OFW 2004, balik ako 2019 for my 40tb bday gift sarili 🤗 yes agree na miss ko ang sounds every time tatawid ka 😘
Aaaah I remember the day nung first time ko din sa HK hihi kakamiss!! And natuwa dn ako ng bongga sa Jollibee na jan lang meron Chicken Tenders and sa KFC din hihi. Enjoy kayo jan Jm and cousins 🫶🏼✨
Hi JM! Thanks for sharing your HK Tour. Nilista namin all the important points and places to visit for our upcoming HK trip. We are watching your vlogs for a week now and we love every second of it, lakas ng positive vibes when you talk. SUBSCRIBED & Regards from Dubai.
Para san ung yellow na sticker? Curious ako kc nung nagkorea ako last november ang dami kong kasabay na may nakadikit na sticker sa damit nila pero ako wala. Hahaha. Actually, i prefer to stay sa mirador mansion kc walang mga makukulit ng bumbay sa labas and mas tahimik. Favorite place to stay nmin ung pearl guesthouse 6th flr kc ung owner marunong magtagalog kc tumira sya sa binondo and paranaque and super bait at linis ng place nya kht maliit ang rooms. Sa kanya din kmi nabili ng tickets for disney, ocean park and macau kc discounted ung price. Kamiss ang hk.
If group kayo magtatravel wag na kayo maghiwahiwalay sa pila. Paunahin ung mas experienced sa international travel so he/she could tell the IO na kasama niya ung mga nasa likod niya. We did this when my family traveled, di na masyadong ininterview mga kasama ko. Always be confident when answering their questions. Can't blame them, ang dami rin talaga kasing nagti-TNT e.
Hi Sir. Ask ko lang po if panu kayo kumuha nung Disneyland ticket and how much po? Mejo nalilito lang po sa details ng ticket and we need lng to make sure na yung ticket na mabibili is basically for all the rides/attractions. Super thanks and ingats po!

Favorite place to stay nmin ung pearl guesthouse 6th flr kc ung owner marunong magtagalog kc tumira sya sa binondo and paranaque and super bait at linis ng place nya kht maliit ang rooms.
Since isang group lang kayo
I pay great respects to your video that give very updated info to other foreign visitors who may hesitate to come...
Very informative! Thank you!
Ang saya niyo panoorin!! Excited sa next episode. 💕💕 Hopefully maka travel me international next year 🙏
