Wouldve spaced them further apart but look cool
Yep, they are too close together, spread them out Ryno
"Do you have the manual by any chance?"😂😂😂💀
Sergio knows his craft. I should contact him about doing K.I.T.T. lights on my truck 😂
Sergio hope I’m spelling his name rights seems like a good dude
it's that one kid fuck off
it's that one kid you’re a moron. His business probably paid the taxes for your stimulus check.
@@DMAXRYNO 🤣🤣🤣
@@itsthatonekid6188 Go play in traffic..
@@itsthatonekid6188 Stupid kid
at 17:13 the pattern you were explaining was called "wig-wag"
Yeah spread them out i agree.
Just a thought, go 4 pods. One in the far apart holes in the grill and then 2 in the large opening in middle of the grill. Love the builds or all the trucks. Ready to see the lly.
Cab lights are much needed now👌
Sergio always dose good work, he needs a RUclips channel so we can follow him.
andy gerico I’ve been trying to convince him to start one.
DMAXRYNO just commented saying he should to teach about this shii. I didn’t get taught electricity in school because my school closed as we began the unit in April
Looks good bro. I agree, I would spread the amber lights apart just a little. Too close for the wide body OBS.
2 more light on the outside of the 3 u already have
Instead of redoing the spacing you should just add 2 more
I agree add 2 more I think it would look sweet and more uniform like they belong there👌🏼
Looken' good man! Maybe have him hook up your mirror lights as well to strobe along with your grill lights.
Sergio knows his stuff! He is the light Man! Any man that works .... is all good in my book! I don’t care where your from!
Love the obs color scheme! Plus i need my hitch plate ryno!!
COlorado Grown First batch of hitches are expected to go out early next week!
@@DMAXRYNO Awsome! Been waiting for mine to.
Surgo is going to move his shop just to get some of his work done. lol
larry lucas 🤣🤣🤣
I don’t think there is a better truck that is as good looking as the Ford OBS. Its legendary
Those look bad ass. Love the true amber color.
Man, I tell ya, I wish our local guy here was as personable as Sergio. Thanks for this video. I'm VERY handy and mechanically inclined. Installed our last setup (Whelen strobe BULB's) on a 2000 Tundra. (I'm wondering if I can use the old strobe controller for these new fangled LED"s???)
And now, will install the whole kit and caboodle on a 2018 Tundra. Well, our local guy (as I don't really want to install these again only because I don't have the time) told me 6-8 weeks to order and get me in queue for a VERY overpriced installation. Well, KNOWING how to install these things, this video gave me an inspiration and adrenaline shot to move on and do the installation myself.
If I was out that way, I would have Sergio do it as once again, he's a very personable business person, customer service based individual and VERY technically inclined. The array will also include a lightbar. OVERKILL? Yes, as we live on a BUSY road, (backing in an 18 foot trailer) and once the Christmas tree lights up, people will see it and hopefully STOP...haha....
Thanks for the inspirational video man!
16:30 too much flashy flash
😂
Man Sergio is the man!!! He needs do RUclips videos. But lights look awesome. Agree they could be spread apart but still look AWESOME
@DMAXRYNO you should install a EZ tailgate assist on the OBS so the tailgate does slam hard if some else opened it. I know it’s a work truck and you don’t want it destroyed
Maybe now some c4 rock lights in the future 🤔🤔🤔
Go unique and have strobe rock light🤷🏼♂️
Since Sergio reads comments I hope he sees this! You should start your own channel that explains these components! I was supposed to take physics this year but didn’t (senior during the closures) but I have always wanted to know about electricity and electrical components and you explain it better than any teacher.
Sergio is very patient. and that's awesome, I'm looking into getting my first OBS and these videos helps a lot so thumbs up my guy.
Sergio is a wizard man, he knows his stuff.
Sergio, is GODMODE! What a guy...
Yes, finally..... definitely think they need spread out a little more or one more on each side farther out.
Looks sick, I agree they should spread a little bit though. Thanks for all the content.
Those lights are badass
Yeah brotha think they need to be spread out just a little more but the truck still looks awesome
Spread them out but besides that the build is awesome keep up the good work 👍
Feniex makes great products. My work truck has Feniex lights. Love it
love the OBS truck build
I have used the same can of VHT nite shades for 3 sets of tail lights, some marker lights, and probably another few odds and ends, and I still have like half a can left 😂
Just subbed just because you think like me, Keep the headlights clear and alot more usable. Truck looks great!
Thanks for the sub!
Sergio seems like a cool guy
Take a small wrench about the size of the loom and run wires through thee closed in and then start at the end of loom and run the wrench up the loom with the wires. Fast and easy
Agreed think they need to be spaced out a little more
i feel the same way about lights and train horns looking to get my truck tricked out with that stuff.
the term you were looking for is Strobe Tube also you should definitely do LED switchbacks for the Turn signals on the truck so you can keep the white to the front until the signals kick in to match your mirrors
"Strobe tubes." And the old school strobe flash is just a regular "triple alternating" or "quad flash."
Although the Feniex Cannons are great multi-mode lights. A professional installer/shop should never recommend replacing a DOT light. We make customers sign a waiver if they insist on replacing DOT lights with the cannon so they understand that in the event their insurance provider denies liability due to removing the DOT, we are not responsible.
He warns me about all of my lighting choices. I make the decision to swap shit.
@@DMAXRYNO I get that. Just wanted to point that out cause it seemed as he was promoting that as a great option with the Cannon's multiple modes. I'm also one of the longest standing Feniex dealers & Certified Installer's of their equipment and just wanted people to know the possible repercussions of swapping DOT lights for non-DOT approved lighting.
those were called Whelen Headlight/Grille Flasher that what we have in Our cop cars in the 80's and 90's
Halogen bulbs I have 3 code 3 deck blaster that use them. They do exactly that.
Looks sick, they are a liiiiittle close together yeah
Going to add it to my 66 f100 cant wait to see how it looks .
That's the perfect guy to do business with. Listens to the customer and takes pride in his work! I hope he gets more work than he knows what to do with.
I agree with you sored them out a lil more
Lights look awesome bro🤙
If you added a 4th light to your grill, you could have created that effect. Set the flash pattern to steady burn if you are hooking up to an external flasher controller. the Feniex hand held Typhoon allows you to create the back and forth triple burst flash. Just add a 4th light, and connect the two on the left to button 1, and the two on the right to button 2. solved.
Let me get that pappapa strobe pattern Sergio.
Definitely looks good. Great addition 🤙🏾
Super clean look...go for the Knight Rider strobe.
You should get some cab lights on the obs .
I really do like what you do n show to use. Would you do a video of showing pros n cons on lights. Lift. Coil overs. Etcs
I was thinking if you added two more lights to the outside it would give you a little better look.
Those lights in the grill are so sick
The old school strobes we always referred to them as wig wags
"Wig wags" is when u hook up a flasher to the the factory halogen bulbs, whether it be the headlights, turn signals or break lights and it flashes back and forth.
I've got a manual for the obs if you need one.
Left maker light is out
Looks good 👍
Add one on the left and the right but spread out. 5 in total in the front
Surgeo got the rona from behind the seat of that truck
Sergio rocks! Those running lights are a tad too close together for my taste though. Looks a little like Kit from Knight Rider 😂
Need to spread them out. You should replace all marker lights and tailing bulbs with LED’s.
Sergio kills it again 👍🏽🔥
The pigtail connector at the turn signal either breaks the lock tabs or the wires end up breaking. Remove the steering column shroud and inspect.
Personally I like that cluster in the middle I would just add two more lights to one in each grill pocket by the headlights and Center then in the middle of the grill pocket that would look really cool
Sergio great work and skills.
Get out law led lights for that truck they have rock lights and tail light for these trucks and badass custom headlights
I wish i could go to IEP.. my truck has so many issues with the electrical side of things that i just have never been able to figure out and its infuriating
He should get rock lights on the obs
If you plan on doing full led lights on the obs ur gonna need to put resistors on the tail lights from ground wire to the blinker wire with out them the tail lights come on with the key an it messes with your torque converter locking an unlocking it cuz it thinks the breaks are on
They look good but you shoulda spaced them apart a little more they look like one solid light when there on instead of 3 separate lights
How much lift should I do that I’ll need a drop hitch? Any ideas I’m gonna buy a gen 2 Cummins want to make a a beast of a truck
Now I want this look on my Silverado
4 grill hole 1 in each grill hole y so close together? It looks good tho.
I would add 1 more light on either side but thats just me. Still looks god though
You should get a tailgate light bar off amazon it goes in that little space where you wanted to put the rear strobe lights
@DMAXRYNO do you have a video with install of Feniex controller?
What are the name of the light you put in your grill I would like to do four them on my 93 I’ll obs 150
I'd space them apart more and if it was me I'd spray way more vht on them, they still seem a little too bright
X2 wig wags is what I have always called them
What kind of connectors does he use to link them all together?
Man he did a great job on the lights
I am looking to replace my g8he-1a7t-r2-dc12 relay. But I can not find one that is for low voltage for when I replace my bulbs with LEDs so I do not get hyper flash. Instead of using a resister can anyone help? Does IEP sell them?
You need the amber amber in the front turns too.I say leave the spacing but again just my opinion
If you wanted that strobe style, you should have just made the outer lights strobe and the middle steady on....
Cab lights brother that's what you need next aka "clearance lights"
leardi58 I don’t want to drill holes in my roof
@@DMAXRYNO they have magnetic ones now pretty slick check them out the can also strobe
Not a ford guy. But I will have to say. That obs looks sick. But I feel like it's missing something 🤔....... roof top running lights maybe?.
I don’t think its a big enough truck to legally have clearance lights in California
Or you could have used feniex fusions which have multiple triggers... So they can be programmed for a dim mode on one wire, when you put power to the second wire it overrides the dim steady burn and flashes them.
Hide-away strobes or taillight/headlight strobes
Looks good 💯
Wow, exact same thing with ur turn signal wire happened to my ac wire
Hey Dmaxrino, I just subscribe to your channel, I like your videos and soon I will contact Sergio for some lights on my Duramax keep doing more videos to learn more about the GMC trucks.
I was thinking about changing my strobe setup to this on my sierra, but I just realized that the strobe function is probably using the dimmed output just like the running light right? I think those Feniex T3's only have one setting for their internal programming. I guess I will have to reach out for some help from Sergio!
Sergio is an interesting dude. You should make video and let him tell his story. Where he's from and how he got to where he is today.. might be inspiring.
Sergio needs his own channel
Looks good but I would add 1 more on each side. Coming together
