Very nicely done. Your texturing skills are fascinating and they bring pieces to life.
Thanks very much Tom, its fun to personalis them a bit more with texture :)
I was scared right along with you when you fired the lathe up. Lol.
Makes you feel alive!
,😂
Now that's a very nice spoon. I like the way you used it as a showpiece for the various texturing tools you have.
Thank you very much! Have to make it look pretty :)
Love it !! The texturing part was brilliant 😊 thank you so much . I'm glad I found your channel 😊
Awesome glad you liked it :)
Can’t believe you got away with this without a safety police sighting. Awesome work
I asked but they didn't want to go near it :)
So beautifully handcrafted
Thank you!
ماشاء الله ممتاز الله يوفقكم دائما 🌹🇸🇦Excellent very good work good work good luck 👍 🌹🇸🇦

Very nice! I think my next mini project is gonna be turning a spoon.
Go for it!
Big fan of your texturing! But, no oil or finish?
Yes will oil fully before use :) Thanks!
Nice I like it.
Thank you! Cheers!
Um belo trabalho, feito só na paciência. Valeu friend.
Many thanks!
Hi, what drill bit did you use 8:46 ?
Its a sponge samder
@@FromASeed hello, thanks for responding, what is the name of the sandpaper holder or the bit that holds the sponge, do you have a link?
what chuck are you using that opens that wide?
Its is a regular chuck with extensions
You do great work.
@@dsmith34057 Cheers mate
Excellent...👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
How do you keep your lathe from vibrating across the floor? With that much weight on one side you'd think it would be impossible to keep it steady.
It weighs 300kg :)
@@FromASeed yeah, that will do it!
أكثر من رائع
Thank you
Please forgive my utter ignorance : what was the machine called you used to cut the shape before using the lathe! Thanks Without using another machine to cut the basic form, could you do it on the lathe? Many thanks
That was a bandsaw.
You could use a jigsaw to cut it out
If i may ask, what lathe are you using?
It's a Vicmarc VL300
What is machine name?
It's called a wood lathe
@@FromASeed I think he might be asking the name of the lathe.
@@poplix2704 oops yes, it a Vicmark VL300 :)
👏🏻
Cheers Will!

Cheers!

The texture is only on the handle so won't affect cleaning.
This is old news. I made a spoon the same way 10 years ago. Good job anyway.
Cool! Have you got a video? I don't see one on your channel, what method did you use? Old news for only you but not to everyone else :) Cheers mate!
Why didn't you could reverse use a friction chuck on the spoon to turn the outside?
I suppose Icould have, eventaully the handle will get in the way and you would have to do the rest by hand.
